Read the community guidelinesThe interview sounds good, but once you actually join, it’s a different story.
This company violates labor laws by not paying overtime. Reporting it to the relevant departments is useless.
Managers verbally abuse employees and insult their family members. Even after submitting evidence to report workplace bullying, no action was taken; the internal mechanisms are merely for show.
The manager is clearly incompetent and unworthy of the position (it feels like they were placed there internally), drawing a high salary while often failing to clearly define job responsibilities, leaving employees at a loss.
The manager deliberately takes leave before large company events, dumps all the work on employees, and then takes credit for it.
There should be plenty of activities, plus a free snack cabinet.
There’s little flexibility. This department has a lot of double standards, and the long working hours depend heavily on who you’re handing over to.
I’ve been at this company for almost three years. By chance, I came across this website and wanted to share my experience working here with everyone.
1. The salary is genuinely very good and highly competitive in the market.
2. The company benefits are really, really, really good (free snacks, soy milk, milk, and drinks in the pantry; gift bonuses for the three major holidays; travel allowances; year-end bonuses; various other bonuses, etc. The company provides all the benefits you would expect and takes excellent care of its employees and their families. Benefits for women are also very good.)
3. The training courses are extensive and practical (the HR department really does prepare training courses based on the needs of the company and its employees, with great care. Working at this company truly gives you the opportunity to take many professional courses.)
4. Most of the colleagues are very easy to get along with (kind, empathetic, and reasonable).
5. There is a strong culture of exercise (the current general manager loves badminton, and the company has various clubs, including basketball, badminton, strength training, yoga, wellness, and more, so life after work remains very fulfilling).
6. Most importantly—work-life balance! Although there are inevitably times when you have to work overtime, at least employees aren’t overworked, and the company doesn’t take their contributions for granted. Working hours can also be adjusted according to the department, which is truly very employee-friendly.
There’s no air conditioning when working overtime after 7 p.m. QQQQQ
I heard the compensation is good.
The phone interview did not show caller ID, and they scrutinized the résumé very closely. They are very concerned about employment gaps or managers with very short tenures, so applicants are advised to make some revisions before applying. They do not prefer candidates from pharmaceutical companies.
A foreign-owned company with a leave policy better than that required by the Labor Standards Act and good benefits. The base salary is negotiated based on your own abilities, with a year-end bonus equivalent to two months’ salary. Sales staff receive a car allowance of NT$11,000 per month; fuel, parking, and toll expenses are reimbursed based on actual costs. A mobile phone, laptop, and tablet are provided.
Sales commissions are calculated based on the base salary; rather than using a uniform performance-bonus formula for everyone, regardless of whether they are newcomers or veterans.
