Pros

Good working environment

Cons

Although it has been four years since the previous review, the experience was basically the same.

1. The test results were essentially treated as a formality. (Many companies at least discuss the test conclusions, but not a single word was mentioned here.) After completing the test, I was made to wait another 10–20 minutes, which was a waste of time.

2. The interviewing supervisor had essentially no understanding of the applicant’s résumé. They asked me to repeat all of my experience from the beginning instead of focusing on experience relevant to the position or asking questions about the résumé.

3. They probably did not remember the job responsibilities listed on the recruitment website either. When I asked what “supporting on-site services” meant, they even gave an expression as if I had asked a stupid question, and merely said that, because of my gender, I would not be asked to do that task.

4. As in the previous review, by this point I could already sense the interviewing supervisor’s impatience, yet they mechanically asked whether I had any other questions, as though simply going through the procedure. It would have been better to end the interview directly.

Overall, if the interviewing supervisor would be my supervisor after hiring, working with them would be concerning, to say the least. Even if I were offered the job, I would not want to accept it.

Pros

Good environment

Cons

1. Although the personal information form, including the assessment, fills two full pages front and back, during the interview the female supervisor only discussed your past experience and interests; she did not look through the information on the back at all.

2. Whether you are suitable for the position is communicated directly during the interview. Since my previous work experience involved customer service, the female interviewer suggested which industries might be better for me to apply to. Put nicely, she was providing direction; put less nicely, it felt as though she thought I had submitted this résumé casually without understanding what I was applying for, as if I had not given it any thought.

3. I have a European and American body type—slightly full-figured but not fat. The interviewing supervisor commented critically on the interviewee’s clothing and even made personal attacks, saying that the company had no suitable uniform for me to wear. If you weigh over 55 kg or need to wear a skirt size M or larger, you may want to skip this interview; otherwise, you may be deeply hurt.

4. After stating that I was unsuitable, she still asked whether I had any final questions. When I replied that she had already said I was unsuitable, so I had no questions, she asked, “Then what do you think is the reason you are suitable for this job?” This was extremely contradictory. If you are told that you are unsuitable for the job, I suggest politely ending the conversation rather than wasting both parties’ time.
