Read the community guidelinesIf you are assigned to a department on the 4th floor, both the work and the environment are excellent.
You enter as a dispatched worker, and this staffing agency stipulates that if you work for less than three days, you will not be paid. The medical examination costs NT$650 (NT$45 extra for postage if you have it mailed to your home) plus NT$100 for an EasyCard or iPASS, meaning you have to pay NT$795 before starting work. (You can also keep the cost to a minimum of NT$650 by providing a medical examination report from within the past three months, saving yourself the upfront expense.)
This staffing agency calculates pay by monthly salary. Compared with another staffing agency, you directly earn more than NT$10,000 less each month.
As for the company, its most unreasonable rule is that being one minute late results in an automatic deduction of half a day’s pay. The company and the staffing agency will say: “We have always treated being one minute late as four hours of personal leave; there is absolutely no such thing as forcing you to take leave or withholding wages.”
In plain language: We already told you, didn’t we? You being late is your problem. Can you blame us for deducting half a day’s pay? Blame yourself for not leaving home earlier!
In addition, there is absolutely no leeway when it comes to lateness. Traffic jams? You are unfamiliar with the location of the time clock because it is your first day? Putting on your hat, antistatic clothing, shoes, and checking your static electricity levels caused you to be late? Well, all of these are your own problem as an employee.
Regarding working hours, the staffing agency will say “overtime is voluntary,” but in practice, do you really dare say no? If you do, please go home and wait to be notified. Without overtime: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a break from 10:00 to 10:15 a.m., lunch from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m., and a break from 3:00 to 3:15 p.m. With overtime: dinner is from 5:20 to 6:20 p.m., and overtime lasts until 8:00 p.m. at the latest. This is the same from Monday through Friday. Saturday overtime is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the same break times as on days without overtime.
Meals cost NT$30. It gives the impression of a buffet, but the variety and quality are not as good as at an actual buffet. (After all, it is only NT$30.)
Overtime frequency: During the first week, they are afraid new hires will quit, so they will not make you work overtime. The following week is when hell begins: six days of work and one day off. Unless you are Superman or a cockroach, working overtime on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays or Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays is recommended.
The overtime system supposedly involves checking a form and does not force people to work overtime, but......
I did not encounter overtime because I clocked in late after being unfamiliar with the procedures, was forced to take leave, and then decisively resigned. However, among the people hired in the same group, someone who had a part-time job on Fridays and Saturdays and could not work overtime was immediately questioned by their supervisor.
You can apply for a parking permit, so your scooter or car will not be exposed to wind, sun, or rain. You need to show the parking permit (sticker) to enter the parking lot, and the vehicle compartment is inspected when you leave.
Leave must be requested ten minutes before the start of work. Sick leave requires a medical certificate. To resign, avoid the 25th and 26th of each month, when payroll is calculated, and give three days’ advance notice.
Conclusion: The work itself is fine, but the company’s policies are very problematic. If you do not get placed through the right staffing agency, your pay is directly reduced by more than NT$10,000. This company is recruiting year-round, and the security guards and HR department are very accustomed to handling dispatched workers who resign. Approximately seven out of every ten people who enter end up leaving.

1. Various double standards in the Quality Assurance Department
Today, when a product issue was identified, we were questioned for being overly critical.
Tomorrow, when Manufacturing raises the same issue, they ask why Quality Assurance failed to catch it.
The supervisor only questions their own Quality Assurance department about why it was not raised in the first place.
Whether a product is rejected entirely depends on Manufacturing's attitude.
The Quality Assurance Department works hard but receives no appreciation; there have been no raises in two years.
This is not just an isolated case—the entire Quality Assurance unit has received no raises.
Even the team leader earns the same salary as a senior operator in another department.
(Senior operator = first-stage promotion)
2. Break times keep getting shorter, from one hour to only 40 minutes now.
I guess in a year it will be down to 30 minutes.....
3. Lunch changed from boxed meals to group catering.
I went from never having diarrhea to having severe diarrhea repeatedly. There have been bugs in the dishes, and reporting it was useless; I even encountered a moving bug....
4. Bonuses for the three major festivals became bonuses for only two festivals.
Cash was changed to gift vouchers, and they originally even said they would cancel the birthday bonus... Thankfully, I received mine....
The company's hardware environment is not bad.
Overtime pay is provided properly.
Those who are not sufficiently mentally and physically resilient are not recommended to join the Quality Assurance department.
The following reflects my genuine personal work experience, with absolutely no intention of defamation:
As the head of Quality Assurance, [they have] an extremely traditional manufacturing-industry old-guard mindset and do not care at all about employee turnover, resulting in an extremely high turnover rate. Unable to defend the department externally, [they] cause the entire department to be suppressed; internally, [they are] busy assigning blame and only focus on results, immediately making you a target! As a result, employees have absolutely no sense of belonging! This is the first time I have seen a Quality Assurance system that is so suppressed by Manufacturing and has no dignity whatsoever! The overall quality of the employees needs to be improved!

Working hours are 08:00–17:00, yet the company requires employees to be inside the facility and checked in before 07:55. If you arrive at 07:56, you will be required to fill out a “Behavior Improvement Interview Record Form” and write: “If my arrival time exceeds 07:55 next time, I voluntarily agree to take half a day of leave for failing to check in!”
This company is really great 👍 If you don’t write it, the supervisors will keep demanding that you do so.

The interview felt quite formal, and there were even three rounds of interviews. However, apart from HR, the other two rounds seemed to exist merely to put you down. They did so by criticizing you for lacking sufficient qualifications (years of work experience) or abilities (certifications or relevant experience). Of course, a job applicant’s strengths and weaknesses can be discussed during an interview, but I had been submitting applications for more than a month before they finally invited me to interview. If I truly failed to meet their requirements to such an extent, they could have simply sent a rejection through 104. Why go through all this unnecessary trouble?
Furthermore, during the interview I also asked about the salary, benefits, and my expectations regarding professional development in the position (obtaining relevant certifications and the promotion system), but they evaded all of these questions and said they would explain them after confirming my employment. So I have to ask: Did I come for a job interview, or did I come because I thought my face was dirty and wanted you to wash it?

High-pressure, doesn't know how to manage people, and some team members are required to work overtime regularly (without overtime pay). Think twice before joining production control; turnover is high.

Tainan plant: If you consider candidates to lack sufficient experience or to be unstable, don't invite them to an interview just to humiliate them. It's a waste of time and contradictory, and they don't even disclose the salary when asked.
