The news department’s editorial division has a very serious bullying problem. The supervisors neither want to address it nor have the ability to do so. Do not be fooled by the fake friendly atmosphere. The bullying methods are also highly technology-driven, involving underhanded tactics through LINE and Facebook, followed by setting numerous traps for you at work. The good ratings rely entirely on the boost from cartoons.
Aside from a few HR professionals, the rest of the work is basically miscellaneous busywork. It doesn’t pay much, but it isn’t too demanding either.
There is a culture of anonymous denunciation in traditional industries that involves spreading rumors and stirring up trouble. On top of that, professional media workers’ ability to distort facts… Together, the workplace culture can be rather frightening…
The core business is still losing money, so it is not advisable to stay for long.

1. Serious internal infighting. There are many entrenched senior employees who are hostile and dismissive toward younger staff. Yet they are actually terribly incompetent and cannot plan anything, leaving me to clean up after them all day.
2. The old chairman parachuted his spoiled, second-generation son into the company to manage the entire organization. He is completely out of touch with reality and knows nothing, doing whatever comes to mind. The various entrenched factions below barely pay any attention to him either, resulting in a situation where his power has been hollowed out and he is merely a figurehead.
3. The company has been operating at a loss for a long time and is constantly trying to save money. Unable to afford to hire a manager, it simply appointed an ordinary employee from below as acting manager. But this person is incompetent, unmotivated, and constantly pushes tasks onto others while pretending to be busy all day. They are terrified that others will see through them and realize they cannot hold the position, so whenever they encounter something they do not know how to do, they either stay out of the way or have someone else do it while standing beside them and pretending to be impressive. The entire company is pathetic.

The colleagues are fairly easy to get along with.
I strongly advise against joining this company, especially the "News Department."
The department has not established any SOPs for how work is done.
Moreover, the supervisor's treatment of people and approach to handling matters basically depends on their mood. They are also highly subjective about news content.
In addition, the department seriously violates labor laws. All employees work at least 10 hours a day, and workers are forced to sign consent forms for voluntary overtime.
Compared with other wireless and cable stations, the workload is probably the heaviest, without a doubt. Simply put, they work one person as if they were ten.
