Read the community guidelinesThe company regularly distributes movie tickets and gift voucher points every quarter. Most departments do not require overtime. There are factories in Taiwan, and if production takes place in Taiwan, business travel is not required.
The camera PL department has a high turnover rate, and new employees mostly end up doing miscellaneous tasks as disposable workers.
The colleagues are generally easy to get along with and polite. The company environment is also fairly spacious and bright.
The supervisor often has no idea about things and is not very helpful. Colleagues with poor emotional management even throw packages, and there is an overwhelming amount of work every day.
The annual bonus does not vary much, so don't expect any surprises.
Gift money for the three major holidays; quarterly welfare benefits/movie tickets
The back-office department (it's too obvious, so I can't say it directly) frequently requires overtime. There is no overtime pay or compensatory leave for overtime on weekdays, while overtime on holidays only earns compensatory leave (which is valid for only nine months). Overtime is mandatory at the beginning and end of every month, regardless of whether those days fall on holidays; there have even been instances of working until 11 p.m. or midnight.
My coworkers are very nice, but the work atmosphere is extremely stressful. The supervisor is not very patient and speaks very rudely, so it is easy to be humiliated or scolded. In short, every day is very painful.
I really do not recommend it; the work environment is unhealthy for your body, mind, and spirit.
When a make-up workday occurs, your annual leave is automatically deducted without asking whether you agree. If you do not want annual leave deducted, you have to come to the company and obtain approval from a supervisor-level manager.
The benefits and treatment for contract employees are vastly different from those for regular employees. Contract employees generally do not receive salary increases, year-end bonuses, or performance bonuses. They receive only half pay when taking sick leave, whereas regular employees receive full pay. Regular employees' annual leave benefits are better than those required by the Labor Standards Act, while contract employees must simply follow the Labor Standards Act.
Most importantly, when a contract employee becomes a regular employee, their entire period of service is reset to zero, regardless of how many years they have worked or how long their tenure is. There have also been cases where contract employees' salaries were reduced upon becoming regular employees. If you are considering applying for a contract position, think twice.

The breakfast shift receives a NT$15 subsidy for lunch, and overtime includes a full dinner subsidy.
The position I interviewed for was a Monday-to-Friday morning shift with weekends off.
However, overtime is still required from Monday to Friday. Although you can request leave, the shift leader will give you a hard time about it.
You may even be called in after requesting leave.
Overtime is also required on Saturdays. You likewise have to request leave in order not to work overtime; otherwise, failing to request leave is considered agreement to work overtime.
Movie tickets are provided every quarter, and the travel subsidy is generous.
The company likes to make grand promises. It wants to operate according to Foxconn's model, and often has employees work overtime and travel during Lunar New Year and other holidays just to put on a show for clients. It really does not treat employees as a priority, and HR pushes salaries down very aggressively.
At work, you need to follow the right manager. A manager's personality determines the atmosphere within a team, so pay close attention during the interview. Basically, if you end up with a short-tempered manager, the senior employees on the team tend to have similar personalities. When I was new, I encountered several employees with 10 years of seniority who lived in their own worlds and had forgotten that they also knew nothing when they first joined. Yet when mentoring newcomers, they were very willing to give people attitude, even though they themselves only knew about networking XD
If you are interested in networking, this company is suitable for learning basic networking knowledge. After all, it is still one of Taiwan's few major networking companies. However, I recommend staying for only one or two years. Spending too long there while learning only one-sided knowledge can easily cause you to lose your competitiveness in the future.
A fairly average company.
Sercomm doesn't pay overtime; there's only a meal allowance worth one Sun Yat-sen (NT$1,000).
