It is impressive that, under the joint leadership of the CEO and the director, the company has managed to achieve downsizing and repeatedly record new lows in performance. I am very grateful that I left long ago and did not continue to remain on this ship that is about to sink.
The office environment is good.
The Labor Standards Act is followed fully.
The system is very strange. An associate manager in one department has a great deal of authority, and senior management is overly indulgent toward her as well. A single word from her can even carry more weight than the CEO’s. She reaches into every area and wants to manage every department. Under her leadership, the turnover rate is very high, and the departments she manages are never fully staffed. Employees frequently have to take on multiple roles. She likes to interfere across departments, and every department has to cooperate with her. Nothing needs to be planned in advance; whenever she thinks of something, she issues orders and assigns urgent tasks, taking “rolling adjustments” to the extreme. As a result, many people in various departments have resigned because of her.
Another issue is that this company has little in the way of a promotion system. Department heads are all people she knows who have been brought in. In a company where an associate manager’s authority is equivalent to that of the chairman, the future is cause for concern.
Fixed working hours
One of them is comparable to Empress Dowager Cixi: moody, self-aggrandizing, and constantly picking on employees at every level in turn. There is no respect, only ever-increasing burdens. The eunuch under the empress dowager is even a master of Tai Chi; department members are suffering terribly, their performance reviews are arbitrarily scored, and they face unreasonable demands and deliberate obstruction. Their workload is several times that of the neighboring team.
Even more frightening is that both are managers with authority but no responsibility, effortlessly drawing high salaries. Department members, by contrast, work themselves to the bone while earning low wages.
Telephone interview
The main focus is proactively understanding staffing allocation in the workplace, as well as call hours and call volume.
