Can't think of any for now

Cons

Position interviewed for: Printing Process Engineer

I waited 30 minutes for the interview, but the HR specialist and HR manager apologized and explained that they were late because their meeting ran over.

Job responsibilities: Adjusting process parameters for new products. The types of machines include two main categories: digital and screen printing.

Shift requirements: HR stated that during the first six months to one year, the employee would learn on the production line and need to work the graveyard shift (8:30 PM–4:00 AM) to learn on the production line, alternating every month. The hiring manager emphasized that the employee would definitely rotate shifts for about a year.

Q: Is the need to rotate shifts for training because the day- and night-shift production lines do not overlap?

A: In fact, they do overlap. The main purpose of rotating shifts is to become familiar with the on-site environment, so that the production operators would not ignore your instructions in the future.

Benefits: The company has established an employee welfare committee, and provides small gift bonuses for the three major festivals.

Annual leave: In accordance with the Labor Standards Act.

Monthly salary structure: Base salary + professional allowance.

Overtime pay: In accordance with the Labor Standards Act, calculated based on the full salary.

Graveyard-shift allowance: NT$200 per day!!!

Salary adjustments: The HR manager stated that there are no regular salary adjustments. The hiring manager stated that there would be no salary adjustment during the first three years. The HR specialist emphasized that there may be an opportunity for a raise in cases of outstanding performance.

Annual salary structure: 12 months of salary + performance bonus (expected value: one month of full salary) + year-end bonus (fixed at one month of base salary) + profit sharing (average: two months of full salary; may be higher or lower depending on individual performance).

Compensation: I have a master's degree in chemistry and five years of partially relevant experience. They initially offered NT$40,000, later adjusting it to NT$50,000.

Pros

Headquarters work allows you to leave and arrive on time.

The environment is also clean and tidy.

However, the salary only guarantees 13 months of pay.

There is a huge difference between managers and employees in terms of additional bonuses.

Senior executives generally only pay lip service.

The amounts given to employees vary greatly.

If you know how to knock on the executives’ doors, you can be promoted quickly.

Plant-site working hours are long and base pay is low, but profit sharing is relatively higher.

Like Taiwanese-funded companies, they prefer employees who are obedient.

To earn over 1 million, you need to be a senior executive.

Cons

It is a traditional industry, so there is not much special to learn.

Basically, the company specializes in plastic film printing.

In terms of the work, everything is done at the grassroots level, and the pay is also the lowest.

Basically, most employees are long-term workers.

They have been trying hard to transform, but without any focus.

Bonuses are getting smaller and smaller.

As with the printing industry, gross profit margins are getting lower and lower.

Pros

👍 The company, Baina Haichuan, is willing to provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities. It has employees with more than ten fingers and speech impairments. The company can accommodate positions without routine work, so you need to find things to do yourself to demonstrate your value.

👍 The company not only takes care of its internal employees; it is also willing to pay an unknown external design consultant to come and chat.

👍 You can learn about the provisions of the Labor Standards Act and have opportunities to apply them in practice.

Cons

😠 The drawbacks are the same as those shared by this netizen, so I will not elaborate further.

Pros

None

Cons

They made me wait a long time past the agreed-upon time, and the HR representative had no sense of punctuality at all.

I was asked why the company should hire me. No matter how I answered, the HR representative would only say that the company could find someone better, leaving me with nothing more to say! There will always be someone better, just as interviewees may also feel that they will eventually find a better company. Isn’t that just stating the obvious?

Pros

1. The company is a group with nine branches in China and an office in the United States; it is not an ordinary traditional industry.

2. Printing technology has been applied in various fields, with even high-priced applications in the IT industry and everyday products.

3. Teaching is valued.

Cons

1. The starting salary is low. New sales staff or FAE employees cannot learn the processes in their first year without working overtime, but there is no overtime pay.

2. The company practices reverse selection: many outstanding employees are recruited away or promoted, while those with a strong submissive mentality continue to become frontline supervisors.

3. There are a bunch of inspirational stories and catchphrases to memorize, almost like a religion; without flattering others, it is impossible to get promoted.

4. Whether in the factories or business units, the drinking culture is strong. Taking clients out to have fun is considered more important than working diligently.
