Read the community guidelinesAt work, you can look at your colleagues and check stocks. You can also step outside to smoke a few cigarettes whenever you feel like it.
A manager was parachuted in. Their credentials sounded very impressive when introduced, but they could only work as a switchboard operator. I can't understand why they were hired.
Employees work 7.5 hours a day, with a guaranteed annual salary equivalent to 14 months.
The work is simple and easy to learn, but you have to rotate between multiple stations.
No meals are provided; you can join a group order or go downstairs to the nearby 7-Eleven.
1. Veteran SMT workers spread gossip and rumors.
2. The intelligence of Taiwanese operators leaves something to be desired.
3. The incompetent group leader is the one who most deserves to be laid off.
No advantages, only disadvantages
Engineers who jump directly from OP to Level 3 can come to work without doing anything, stay to work overtime, and get paid an especially high salary without being under a responsibility-based system. They only do paperwork yet can still work overtime until so late every day. They come to the production line to pretend to be busy for no reason, and even when there is no overtime on the production line on holidays, they can still come in to work overtime. With so much paperwork to do, I really can't understand it. Her predecessor also did not work overtime so excessively. On Saturdays, she still worked overtime just as excessively, and even invited her good friend to hide by the production line and work overtime together. She only picks on OPs. Why hasn't the boss thought of scrutinizing the high-paid employees as well? Why is it that these highly paid employees will not do their jobs unless they are removed from the responsibility-based system? Wouldn't that guarantee they leave work on time? Why has no one thought of installing surveillance cameras in the office and along the production line? There are so many people with awful-looking eating habits. There is a supervisor on the evening shift, so why does the morning-shift supervisor still stay so late? Does she have that much work to stay and do overtime? No wonder the boss is losing so much money. Where has the integration gotten to, all you mutually protective officials?
Having nothing is the advantage.
Amateurs leading experts; the same problems keep recurring.
You can't make suggestions or you'll get scolded.
Those who stand out will be the first to be cut down.
None. Absolutely no advantages at all.
1. Low salary
2. Disrespect for professionalism
3. I heard that sexual harassment occurred, and the perpetrator is still at the company and is a repeat offender.
Pros: The emperor is far away, so the local ruler has absolute power.
Money is spent without hesitation; with eyes closed, you can buy whatever you want.
Cons: Work is distributed unevenly, with different workloads between the north and the south.
While one side works endless overtime, the other can be hired after telling the hiring manager directly during the interview that they do not work overtime. Despite the small number of employees, factional infighting is constant. There is also targeted exclusion, direct personal attacks, and sexual harassment. When the case is submitted to the gender-equality committee, they merely hold a meeting to hear the claims as a formality, do not provide the relevant parties with a report, and directly conclude that the case is unsubstantiated. The committee is effectively a sham.
Not one manager is truly capable of solving problems; they let problems fester until they explode.
Even when bad situations arise, people are expected to deceive themselves and not speak out publicly because it would affect the stock price.
The product undergoes endless rounds of rework.
The mold die-casting engineers and procurement staff have no experience, allowing suppliers to take advantage of the company.
Overall, the managers lack ability and professionalism, allowing the company to burn through money endlessly.
As with the other review, the benefits package is genuinely good.
I have already left the company. Although every workplace has many difficulties that require adjustment, this was truly outrageous.
The plant manager likes to give arbitrary orders, causing SMT and the engineering department to waste time spinning their wheels.
During meetings, he curses at employees indiscriminately and bangs on the table. Despite never having been involved with the actual on-site work, he likes to give reckless orders based on his own assumptions.
This makes everyone even busier and creates more chaos.
He says you can ask him for help when there is a problem, but he will not listen to you explain the issue; he wants you to state the result directly. In the end, his proposed solution is often something that has already been tried, so the problem remains unresolved and you get reprimanded again.
Moreover, the protection of accomplices runs extremely deep. Everyone clearly knows that the senior manager has problems.
The HR department very obviously shields that senior manager. Many people have reported all of the issues mentioned above to HR, but nothing has been done.
The next day, during a meeting, the senior manager even deliberately said, “This is just how I work. If you can’t accept it, leave on your own.”
Consider this: if a department has around 15 people and five leave within two months, is that really not a problem?
The company is basically treating employees as disposable chopsticks.
Recently, many people who were extremely dissatisfied went to post reviews on Google Maps. Before long, the Google Maps listing was deleted.
When faced with problems, instead of solving the problems, they solve the people who raise them.
The company’s benefits system is pretty good
The senior management protects one another.
One senior executive engages in personal attacks, targeting your age, appearance, intelligence, and so on.
Then, if you raise the issue with other senior executives, they will simply placate you, only to turn around and report you.
They also refuse to listen to your explanations, insisting that you do things their way.
As a result, things only get worse, and then they tell you to reflect on yourself and write a plan.
