Two days ago at 10 a.m., I went to interview for a store inspector/inventory specialist position. HR took me to a conference room and handed me another form to fill out. I thought that after submitting the application response, I had already sent them the company’s Word document, but I had to fill out another one… In the end, there were nine people in the conference room, including me. HR then came in and briefly explained the company’s policies: a NT$500 perfect-attendance bonus for the first half of the month and another NT$500 for the second half. The company has nearly 100 stores, working hours are 08:30–17:30, with two days off per week… They made it sound as though the company’s policies were really great… (Don’t most offices have two days off per week?) They also said that eating cookies and snacks during work hours was not allowed and that we could only drink beverages, except during mealtimes. The main point was how to arrange interviews for nine people. It turned out they interviewed us in the order we arrived. When I went in, an old woman kept coughing. She asked about my previous work and expected salary. I saw that 104 listed it as over NT$40,000, so I said I hoped for NT$35,000. Later, she asked whether I had any other questions. I said no, and she told me the interview ended there and that they would notify me whether I was hired. I was extremely doubtful: Lady, aren’t you going to explain the job duties and salary? Or is this position not even worth NT$35,000, so you stopped talking as soon as you heard I expected NT$35,000…? The interview ended in less than five minutes. The funniest part was that the next day I saw that the salary on 104 had been changed to NT$25,000–50,000… It was really ridiculous.

I scheduled an interview with an administrative order-entry employee at the head office. On the day of the interview, after I had already arrived near the company, they called just 10 minutes before the interview to say that the supervisor had something come up and the interview had to be postponed???
I immediately declined and said that I had something else to attend to afterward. HR said they would contact me again, but I never heard anything further~
The entire interview process is conducted online
The entire interview process is conducted online,
but the interview content is exactly the same as the information they require us to fill out.
The only difference is that if anything does not match what they enslave us to provide, they will ask specifically about it.
For example, after work, you may have to spend 30 minutes taking inventory (with no overtime pay). If you indicate in the information that you are willing to give it a try, they will ask about it again.
In addition, they require you not to take leave for the seven days before starting the job, allegedly to accelerate learning. Doesn't this violate the Labor Standards Act? (I have currently decided to report it.)
Moreover, although the company says it will provide training, it is unwilling to explain its training methods.
The salary is the same: the online listing says the starting salary is NT$40,000, but they told me that the first three months would be NT$35,000.
This reminds me of a company I encountered before; it is possible that the salary would still be NT$35,000 after three months. Since it is a sales position, the base salary may actually only be the statutory minimum wage, essentially avoiding its labor insurance obligations by insuring workers only at the minimum salary.

They didn't say before the interview that I would need to wait.
When I arrived, there were a bunch of people.
We took turns taking a typing test and interviewing one by one.
It was really annoying.
I came at the agreed-upon time, and now more than an hour has passed, yet I still have to sit idly in the meeting room.
All the interviews afterward were delayed.
I was completely dumbfounded.
