Pros

10 days off per month, with 10 working hours per day, including a 1-hour break. Whether you can take the break depends on whether you have customers. When it’s not busy, you can coordinate with your coworkers to take turns eating and resting. Good coworkers are more important than anything else. The base salary includes a perfect-attendance bonus and a performance bonus of 3.5. Gift boxes are provided for the three major holidays, and the fixed year-end bonus is NT$15,000. Third Brother is a really nice person.

Cons

There are many group chats, and extensive reporting is required. But this is a common issue in the telecommunications industry, so it’s not too bad. If the organizational staffing could be streamlined or the management system digitized, I believe new employees could get up to speed more quickly.

Pros

The store staff and colleagues are all pretty nice, and they generally don’t get impatient when you ask the same question repeatedly.

Cons

The job posting says applicants with no experience are welcome, but in reality they want someone who can hit the ground running. Within one month, you’re expected to memorize all the various pricing plans and promotions and know how to sell them. I had been working for less than a month when, halfway through the month, I was judged unsuitable and dismissed that same day. There was no three-month probationary period, nor was I allowed to work until the end of the month, which would have given me time to find my next job. People without sales experience and much savings are not advised to apply to this company.

Pros

Weekdays are very quiet when there are no customers.... But correspondingly, there are no sales.

Cons

Ten days off per month, with more than 10 hours of work every day. You are often transferred to other stores for support, and each store has different training and practices, so it is very easy to get criticized. If you fail to meet your sales targets, you are given a pile of reviews that mentally torment you, putting you under so much pressure that you resign.

Pros

There are three bosses: the eldest, the second eldest, and the third eldest. The eldest smiles and is cheerful every day, the second eldest looks stern every day, and the third eldest is very considerate and occasionally buys snacks for the employees (there are around sixty or seventy employees at headquarters, and everyone gets a share).

Cons

The headquarters employees have low salaries and small year-end bonuses, and are subject to a responsibility-based work system. I worked there for a year and a half. My starting salary was 22,000, and when I left it was 25,000. We had every other week off, with half-day Saturdays.

There was no annual leave. The company did not comply with the Labor Standards Act. At that time, my year-end bonus was 18,000—the smallest year-end bonus I have received from any company I have worked for.

We still had to work on Chinese New Year's Eve, and were only off from the first through the fourth day of the Lunar New Year. The year-end bonus was paid in cash on Chinese New Year's Eve. (However, I left seven years ago, so I don't know whether things have improved since then.)

Pros

When there’s nothing to do at work, there’s so much free time that you can swat flies, use your phone, and catch up on current events, which is pretty nice. When you encounter difficult customers, you can pass them on to company-operated stores, so it’s not too mentally exhausting. If they could change to a two-shift system or actually implement a workweek of no more than 45 hours, it would really be wonderful.

Cons

You work 20 days a month and have 8 days off in February, but you work more than 12 hours a day. This is best suited to people with plenty of stamina and energy. There are lots of useless performance reports. The performance pressure is manageable, but you’ll sacrifice a lot of time. Other than that, it’s fairly acceptable.

12-hour workdays, with 10 days off per month. They completely fail to comply with the Labor Standards Act.
