Read the community guidelinesThe boss must have had backing; otherwise, they wouldn’t have been able to start a business with several million while still a student.
No substantive competitiveness—they can’t even analyze competing industries.
The business is run entirely based on the basic operations of an online marketplace.
Although the company is large, its replaceability is extremely high.
Two days off per week, no shift work (This doesn’t really count as a benefit, but there are no other benefits)
The company has no competitive technology. As an e-commerce business, its long-term prospects are bleak.
Employees in different functions cannot tell what their roles are.
Everyone does sales but has a different title. The titles are essentially misused, and it is difficult to distinguish each employee’s area of expertise.
The salary is too low, close to the minimum wage.
The year-end bonus is not transparent; it is impossible to know even the most basic number of months’ pay.
Two days off per week, no shift work. The holiday schedule follows government regulations (make-up workdays are sometimes subject to company policy).
1. Company policy states that working more than half an hour past the scheduled end time qualifies for overtime, but if the supervisor does not approve it, you cannot report it.
2. Taking leave is not flexible; you may be asked for a reason, and your leave request may not necessarily be approved.
3. Hardware stability is poor, and you may encounter network connectivity and other various issues.
The office is upstairs from one of the stores. Upon arrival, you first fill out a basic information form that includes several short-answer questions.
The interview process was relaxed, and the interviewer provided detailed explanations of the job duties and company policies.
Because it is in the retail industry, there are 8 days off per month plus national holidays (days off are scheduled).
Overtime pay, three holiday bonuses, and an annual bonus are provided (depending on performance and individual KPIs).
There are two evaluations during the initial period. If you fail both evaluations, it means you are not suited for the position.
The salary is not adjusted; the starting salary is fixed. There may be an opportunity to adjust compensation only if you transfer to another position.
The interview was for an office position, so I am not sure whether the same applies to store positions.
The advantages and disadvantages are up to each individual to assess.
