Pros

1. Not far from the MRT station (but Taipei Main Station is like a maze, so the route is a bit difficult to find)

2. Spacious and bright office environment

3. Very little overtime

4. Flexible working hours

Cons

1. The supervisor said that they actually weren’t urgently looking for people; they just wanted to fill all the positions

2. After the interview, you have to email to express your willingness to join in order to have a chance of being hired. However, after I expressed my willingness to join, there was still no response for more than a month. I suspect that they didn’t respond because my salary expectation was significantly higher than 30K.

Pros

Senior employees are fiercely protective of the company; their deep revolutionary camaraderie is moving.

Cons

The company did not enroll employees in Labor Insurance or the Labor Pension system when they started work, and employees had to investigate the illegal facts themselves. I have the complaint letter in my hands, and this resulted in losing two months of Labor Insurance seniority.

Before you leave, they require you to use up your remaining annual leave, claiming there is nothing for you to do. They secretly told you to go to the conference room to talk, thinking I wasn’t recording. No record?

Would you like me to show you which provisions of the Labor Standards Act you violated?

Then, on February 26, they hurriedly canceled your Labor Insurance, even saving on National Health Insurance. They calculated your salary using 26/30, saving on both Labor Insurance and National Health Insurance, and even using two days to save four days’ wages, allowing the company to make a huge profit~

They hire inexperienced newcomers thinking they are easy to fool. Have you ever heard the saying, “Give a monkey a banana and it will perform”?

I just don’t want to be that monkey (lol).

Senior employees can also check whether their Labor Insurance salaries were underreported despite their actual high salaries—or whether they likewise were not enrolled in Labor Insurance and the Labor Pension system when they started work~ (dying of laughter)

Pros

Hehehe

Cons

A family-run business

They micromanage everything. The boss's wife applies the way she manages her household to managing the company.

They monitor how long you spend in the restroom and how long you are away from the office.

If you're gone for more than 10 minutes, she frantically contacts you on LINE to question you; otherwise, she plants informants to find fault with you.

There are a bunch of mediocre-school veterans at the bottom, lured in at 30K right after graduation.

They have a strong slave mentality and sit until their buttocks become rock-hard.

The people who get in do their work terribly, because as long as they look frantically busy every day, as if they're doing something, there won't be a problem.

You're dragged in to clean up other people's messes. Even after finishing, you don't receive much appreciation; instead, you're told that you look too free and have nothing to do.

The supervisors look as sour as feces every day.

They barely respond even when they see people greeting them; they're simply one of the boss's wife's informants.

They don't understand the Labor Standards Act, yet still insist that you take annual leave on a proportional basis.

The boss spouts a lot of bullshit.

He thinks he can use the same tricks that work on mediocre-school graduates to fool everyone.

During the interview, he thought 34K was too high.

When an engineer from Gamania said 68K, he called it a game created by capitalism.

Then, behind your back, he asks you to increase your workload.

He pats you on the head and says that this industry isn't short of money.

People without much experience think that as long as they're obedient enough, they can come here and it'll be fine.

Anyway, the boss thinks that if he gives you 30K, you should be grateful that you're above those earning 22K.

If you want to coast toward retirement, you can come here too.

After all, the old-timers inside know less than you do, yet they can still keep their chairs warm all the same.
