Pros

None.

Cons

1. When I first joined, there was no handover of any kind, no previous data or files, and the meeting records were a complete mess. Even more absurdly, I couldn’t see a single colleague.

2. I previously heard that a colleague had not yet left their former job, but after merely confirming their acceptance, they were required to attend project progress meetings and even serve as the meeting chair (they were only told on the afternoon of the day before the meeting). Not only did they have to report on the progress, they also had to take the meeting minutes. Naturally, after hearing something so outrageous, the person directly gave up the offer and looked for another job.

3. When I joined the company, I was at the Neihu office, but I had neither my own seat nor a computer (there wasn’t even a printer). It was euphemistically called an “open office,” but in reality Zhang and Tu each had their own offices. They simply refused to rent one to save money and made employees work in a public space in the building— a shared office used with other companies—while requiring them to provide their own computers.

4. I later discovered that the company had not enrolled me in labor and health insurance. They claimed that HR happened to be unavailable at the end of the month and that the enrollment would be backdated later. However, I had already asked the Bureau of Labor Insurance, and enrollment must be completed on or before the employee’s first day of work. This was plainly illegal.

5. After I subsequently resigned, they even tried to accuse me of not providing the materials and demanded that I return to complete the resignation procedures and sign documents stating that I would be responsible for losses incurred during my resignation period. I refused outright. What an outrageous company.

6. Recently, the company was also found to have Chinese investment ties while undertaking government contracts. Truly, those who commit many injustices will bring about their own downfall.

Pros

When there’s nothing to do, there’s nothing to do.

Cons

1. Specializes in bidding on official government websites; all the engineers it hires are in China.

2. Treats people like toilet paper, trying to get rid of them as soon as a project ends.

3. Takes on everything under the sun when bidding for contracts, then looks for disposable people to take the blame when it can’t deliver. Treats employees like enemies.

4. Managers are advised to seek psychological treatment; sooner or later, something is going to happen. (Or has something already happened, and have they still not learned their lesson!?)

5. New graduates everywhere, don’t compromise with low-class people just because you’ve only just graduated.

Pros

Relationships among colleagues are fairly harmonious, and there are regular snacks and drinks available.

Cons

1. There is a significant communication gap. Not only are the graphic designers and engineers in different locations with no way to contact one another, making communication completely impossible, but supervisors also do not communicate with employees. When problems arise and clients chew them out, they then turn around and vent their anger at employees with eight times the force.

2. There is a lack of management systems; everything is handled according to whatever the company says only after an issue has occurred.

3. The clock-in system applies when starting work, but employees are held responsible for everything after work hours. We often still have to check emails and handle matters during holidays.

4. The project manager’s logic is flawless, but they frequently contradict themselves when speaking. One moment, when they are in a good mood, they praise you; the next, when they are upset, they berate you as if sending you to hell—stopping just short of personal attacks.

5. The high employee turnover rate is not without reason. Being emotional is no excuse; people do not understand mutual respect.

Pros

The hardware environment is comfortable

Cons

I hope Taiwanese engineers can be used

It doesn’t feel very good to use Chinese engineers from China to build Taiwanese government website systems

Pros

The workplace is at Farglory Square, and the sanitation facilities, such as the restrooms, are good.

Cons

Although the company environment is spacious, its leadership is weak.

There is one owner and one supervisor, but a lack of systematic management. Communication is particularly weak when coordination is needed.

For web graphic design, the person in charge does not have a visual design background, and brainstorming—an important part of the production process—is absent.

Regarding visual design: the clients are government officials, with production periods of, for example, three months. At the beginning, employees are required to rush the work for two days, after which the government side takes a long time to review it. When the schedule is about to be exceeded, the work is rejected because the government officials are dissatisfied, and the supervisor then takes out their negative emotions on the employees below.

The engineers and graphic designers work in different locations, making communication and coordination inconvenient. Many things that should have been planned by the designers are instead assigned to the engineers.

Pros

Colleagues get along well with one another

From time to time, the boss treats everyone to snacks and drinks

Occasionally there is a bonus when a project is completed, but whether there will be one and how much it will be are decided by the boss, with no fixed criteria

Cons

The company has no consistent policies. Raises, bonuses, year-end bonuses, and so on are all decided by the boss. This year, everyone received 6,000 as a year-end bonus...

The company cannot tolerate opposing opinions. Once you express an opinion, they assume that you are disloyal to the company.

They started sending emails late at night on weekends asking about work progress, and removed you from the company group chat in the middle of the night.

During work, they said the NAS was broken (but the screen showed that access was unauthorized),

and said that if you had no files to give them, it meant that you had made no progress.

But although they said the NAS was broken, they did not ask anyone to repair it. Other colleagues said they could not work without the NAS, yet they still said they could help retrieve the files.

Then, as soon as I submitted my resignation and left the company, the NAS magically fixed itself, hehe.

The whole incident is too long, so I can only summarize the key points. But in between, the company repeatedly went back on its word, and its self-contradictory statements and attitude made it impossible to trust.

Cons

I did not actually join the company as an employee, but I previously collaborated with this company, mainly on website projects. The experience was extremely unpleasant. Throughout the collaboration, they would not sign a contract with you, instead relying on verbal assurances and asking you to trust them. They primarily framed the work as assistance with proposals, while you provided the design. They ignored multiple quotations, and ultimately plagiarized our design, putting it online directly according to the design. They specifically take advantage of solo freelancers and startup teams, and many people have been affected.
