1. The person responsible for my application was a man who asked questions unrelated to the job duties, which felt very unprofessional. I recommend that job seekers politely decline to answer.
Relatively free in the store
1. If you do not reach the extremely high sales threshold, you can only receive the base salary. The commission is also limited to in-store mattress purchases (there is no commission for mattresses purchased online).
2. The store manager with direct access to upper management (a young female control freak) not only steals employees’ ideas but also embellishes them, fabricating claims that store personnel are dissatisfied with the company.
3. Treats employees as disposable chopsticks; if performance targets are not met, employees are immediately eliminated after one week.
4. Pressures employees to sign unequal contracts; if you refuse to sign, you are immediately pressured to resign.
5. There is absolutely no benefits system. Asking about the year-end bonus immediately attracts the boss’s attention.
6. (The young female control freak) clearly will not stay long either, yet loves helping the company paint a rosy picture and deceive newcomers.
The interviewer was very young and often said she would teach us things like makeup and computer graphics. She seemed like a helpful colleague and a good supervisor.
The interview was an easy PASS (I proactively asked whether I needed to go to headquarters for an interview with senior management. The interviewer said that her decision alone was enough).
1. The interviewer is a very young control freak who refuses to disclose her actual age.
She may have received many benefits from the company and loves helping the company paint an overly rosy picture, saying that our mattresses are high quality and that you can earn NT$30,000–40,000 per month by selling them casually.
2. After working for one week, I was "on my day off" asked to meet with the interviewer, who said she felt my conversion rate was too low—only 20%.
(With her sales approach, even new employees can reach 60%, so the problem probably isn't with her sales approach.)
New employees are expected to close deals immediately, because this company has no honeymoon period!!!!!! They will pressure you to death with performance targets every day!!!!!
3. She alone has the final say over both interviews and dismissals (she admitted on the spot that dismissing me was her decision).
4. After doing some performance, this woman would often steal other people's customers.
