1. The salary is far below the market rate. The boss says there will be salary adjustments and raises, but basically, do not have too high expectations. They just lure you in first and treat employees as disposable workers. P.S. The benefits listed on 104 are partly fake.

I currently work at the Taichung branch. I heard from some classmates that the reviews here have affected people’s willingness to come for interviews, but these reviews are already several years old, so I would like to explain the current situation to friends who are interested in interviewing at Pengcheng.

The benefits currently listed on the job bank are as follows:

Leave policy: Two days off per week

Salary policy: Frontline employees receive a fixed salary increase every six months during their first three years; additional increases are available for excellent performance.

All of the above are indeed provided. The company regularly holds labor-management meetings where employees can raise areas they believe the company should improve, and employees can also discuss matters with their supervisors during the semiannual performance reviews. Everyone gets along very well, and the supervisors have not displayed any of the violent behavior mentioned in the reviews at all (perhaps unsuitable employees have already been replaced). I hope that serious, responsible, and capable people will not let the reviews on this website affect their willingness to join the company.

Occasionally there are company dinners, where you can practice distinguishing which responses are sincere and which are perfunctory.

The Taichung office frequently requires overtime. The supervisor does not manage anything and spends all day saying they are busy. When mistakes occur, they only respond by yelling or making sarcastic remarks, and have even physically hit someone before. There are several company Line groups, and you are pressured to review cases after work; if you do not, you are threatened with dismissal. Whenever there is a problem, inexperienced subordinates are pushed to attend meetings with clients and construction sites. The boss makes decisions independently without authorization, and often says they are going to resign but never does.

The colleagues there are pretty nice, and new employees can go there to learn.

The company is divided between northern and central Taiwan. I don't recommend going to the central Taiwan branch—you'll regret it. The northern branch doesn't pay well and the work is very demanding, but it can be treated as a learning opportunity (the turnover rate should be fairly high).

They use contrived justifications, and the base salary is below the minimum required by the Labor Standards Act. Overtime is not calculated in accordance with the Labor Standards Act, so the pay works out to be even less than working part-time at a convenience store. All the listed benefits are fake, and the employee trips are fake as well.
