Pros

Taking leave is easy.

Cons

1. The boss's favorite is Finance.

2. R&D/Procurement are the most lowly regarded.

3. Quality assurance inspections/vendor payments must accommodate Finance's working hours.

4. Production Control must depend on Materials Management's approval to receive incoming goods.

5. Lazy operators have it incredibly easy; diligent operators are often scolded.

Cons

It really is just like the comments downstairs said. Luckily, I didn’t stay long and left first.

1. Nine to six; once work hours are over, there’s practically no one around.

2. There’s absolutely no pressure at work, and no adults are supervising.

3. There’s pitifully little business. It feels like the company doesn’t lack salespeople to bring in business, while other employees enjoy high salaries.

4. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. The boss doesn’t understand Taiwanese law; if you know how to flatter the boss and say what they want to hear, you can control the boss. With even a little experience at another company, you can bluff your way through here and freeload.

5. Management says it wants to IPO and establish procedures, but in reality there are no procedures to speak of… The people in power are the ones who break the procedures.

6. All glittering on the outside, rotten within: the procedures are written very thoroughly, but the people leading the way do not follow them.

7. One person can hold multiple positions without needing expertise or ability. I’ve heard that you can move across several departments—for example, going directly from a very ordinary administrative general affairs role to an audit position that requires a professional background.

8. If you stay here too long, you’ll lose your competitiveness after leaving because you haven’t learned anything formal or standard.

9. This place suits people who only want to wait for retirement and quietly get through the second half of their lives—people with no dreams who don’t want to learn.

10. You have to be obedient to stay for long. I’ve heard that people with ideas or too much expertise don’t last long.

Two years ago, the contact person was an old woman named Hu.

She spent five minutes asking whether I had experience filing Form 401. I said no. “Okay, we’ll contact you if we need someone with that experience.”

Simply put, they were just messing with people—and they still made me wait for more than half an hour.

Your time is the most valuable thing.

Terrible company, shitty company, piece-of-shit company.

I urge accounting professionals not to interview with this company.

I’m saying this upfront.

While waiting, you could very well miss out on job openings at many much better companies than this one.

They spent five minutes asking whether I had certain experience. I didn't. Okay. Then they said they would notify me if they needed someone with that experience.

Are you seriously messing with people? You still made me wait half an hour.

Fuck you, asshole. A job seeker's time isn't time?

Is your time the most precious in the whole world? Ha.

If you don't respect me, I don't need to respect you either.

Shitty contact person. Shitty company.

A huge red flag.

Red flag.

Pros

1. The vast majority of employees can work normal hours, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

2. The company complies with the regulations of the Labor Standards Act.

3. Suitable for those looking for a low-pressure job until retirement.

Cons

1. Unable to make any decisions; the work situation is like being a puppet under control. It is completely a case of nonprofessionals leading professionals.

2. The bosses do not trust employees’ expertise, so it is impossible to make full use of one’s strengths here.

3. The company does not foster employees’ career development. There are outrageous job rotations, such as transferring materials management staff to R&D and operators to R&D. The company only keeps demanding that employees give more, causing both the company and its employees to stagnate. Staying too long will make you less capable.

4. All company information is opaque, especially changes to the three annual holiday bonuses, benefits, and bonuses. Even mistaken payments are reclaimed.

5. The company has a very arrogant attitude. The bosses all think they have perfect systems and procedures and believe the company is large and professional, but in reality it is chaotic and only pretends to be professional. They treat erroneous past experience as fixed procedures.

6. Employees who frequently cause problems can still survive unscathed as long as they know how to put on an act. Their benefits will be no less than those of ordinary employees, resulting in the same things happening repeatedly. As long as you know how to act, it does not matter whether you can do the job.

7. People with poor abilities and no experience can also be promoted to managerial positions.

8. Many managers have no logic whatsoever. In fact, everyone is basically on an equal level, except for the general manager and the actual top boss.

9. Truly capable people who come here will quickly be frightened away. Sixty percent of those who remain are incompetent; the rest have other difficulties or reasons for staying.
