1. The interview did make the interviewee wait. I waited 15–20 minutes while they interviewed someone else, but I guess I was relatively lucky—other people waited half an hour to an hour. Should I be grateful?
2. The person interviewing you will go over, point by point, how you left each company you previously worked for, and then start accusing you of leaving because you lacked ability. They say that if a company wanted to retain you, it would increase your salary and ask you to stay. Sorry, but you also fail to retain people because you keep exploiting them like this, and only think of using higher pay to retain people after good employees have left. I don’t want to work for a company like this either.
3. It looked like the owner was interviewing me, not a supervisor. They acted very self-important and told me that they could tell how capable I was just from our conversation, saying that they knew from talking with me that I was still too inexperienced. From the conversation, I could also tell that you’re the kind of boss who habitually exploits employees. You choose the job applicants, but the job applicants also choose the company.
There are no particular advantages.
1. The interviewer made the candidate wait and took the wrong candidate’s résumé, only checking the résumé details one by one on the spot. It was very absurd.
2. From the start, they looked down on the employee from an employer’s position, constantly criticizing the employee, and spouted a bunch of nonsense unrelated to the job responsibilities.
The work environment seems okay.
The interview was originally scheduled for 11:00, but when I arrived, I was told that the previous candidate was still being interviewed!
I was asked to bring my résumé, but upon arrival, I was asked to fill out another form as well!
I waited from 10:55 until 11:35 before finally meeting with the interviewer—over 30 minutes in total!
After looking at my résumé, the interviewer repeatedly asked why I had left my previous job. No other questions were asked, and some of the questions were already clearly answered on my résumé.
It felt like the interview invitations were sent out indiscriminately. The interview itself lasted only a few minutes, yet I wasted all that time sitting there waiting!!
The whole process left me feeling very unhappy! I was repeatedly questioned about why I had left my previous job and whether I had resigned voluntarily!
(This year, I also became unemployed because of the pandemic!)
A place accessible by car
Absolutely terrible. They made the interviewee wait for over an hour, and the receptionist just handed the applicant a form to fill out and disappeared.
