Read the community guidelinesCompany trips (you only receive a subsidy after completing one year of employment; otherwise, you have to pay out of pocket. Most importantly, participating requires using your annual leave)
Flexible start and end times and hybrid work
Annual leave exceeding the requirements of the Labor Standards Act
The sales and back-office departments provide 7-Eleven-style all-purpose worker/firefighter training, guaranteed to help newcomers quickly grow into veterans XD
Anyone who gets the opportunity to join will definitely get to experience these top-tier perks~
Department changes and manager replacements are not disclosed before the interview; you only learn the truth on-site
The department manager and HR colluded to toy with and deceive applicants, treating reference checks as a joke
After the reference check, they kept the applicant hanging for nearly two weeks using various excuses (claiming there were internal discussions and headquarters approval)
In reality, the new manager was making a mess after taking office and playing games with applicants together with HR
A position created through such a haphazard department merger is practically looking for a scapegoat to come in and clean up the mess. Anyone fortunate enough to join should take care
The content in the JD is nothing like the actual job responsibilities; you are expected to do everything, like an all-purpose 7-Eleven clerk
A company that even requires employees to use annual leave for company trips is not exactly an outstanding company
Not to mention that the entire recruitment process involved toying with applicants. I absolutely do not recommend interviewing with this company
Learned how to talk a good game
They’re hiring an FAE again—it’s basically an incompetent manager wanting more underlings to order around. Young people who want to be treated like servants and have their fighting spirit worn down can give it a try!
You can apply to work from home, which is great for those who already have little to do and slack off.
The FAE manager just needs to talk; they can simply pass customer issues on to the German headquarters to handle. It's truly a cushy job.
Also, every region in Asia already has a local FAE, so I don't know what use the FAE here in Taiwan still has (a backup spare tire?!)
You get to watch the entertaining infighting within the department.
The FAE manager is unpopular, doesn't dare take responsibility when things go wrong, and doesn't take the new boss seriously. He thinks the sales manager has his back, but he's actually just being used. I feel sorry for the FAEs under him.
The FAE and RD teams are getting livelier and livelier.
They're hiring again, and the requirements are getting lower and lower. Are they trying to win through quantity? The company used to pride itself on the German brand's emphasis on winning through quality, but now it has embarked on the irreversible path of Taiwanese companies trying to do everything. A German company has become this low-class. If it's not the current new boss's misguided leadership, then the former behind-the-scenes boss is still pulling the strings. After all, the former boss's "relationship-based" businesses are very large, and his connections are even more tangled and unclear. As a veteran employee, it is truly deeply lamentable to see the company become like this!
The new boss has finally arrived.
Hopefully, the new boss parachuted in from outside can use the advantage of having no baggage to objectively identify the long-standing problems and decisively weed out those who are incompetent or slack off; otherwise, this company will become a paradise for people who just hang on until retirement.
The general manager is finally going to be replaced.
But there are still problematic people clinging on and refusing to leave.
There is no doubt that the general manager is leaving. A few years ago, they were unable to retain talent, failed to recognize people properly and promoted problematic individuals to managerial positions. Then, despite expanding the R&D department, it has yet to produce any decent results!
Now, besides having the problematic people leave and bringing back the talented people who left before, I can’t see any other way to save the situation!
It's time for the employee trip again!
We have to use our own annual leave, and it runs over the weekend too—how insincere!
Just moved into a new office (this is normal), so I guess that counts as a pro?!
They’re looking for FAE staff again. They can’t retain talent, so they have to keep hiring; the company doesn’t dare address the root of the problem, and this is the result!

The company is moving before the Lunar New Year, away from the bustling East District. It looks like the only advantage is gone too! The Taoyuan office is also closing, so everyone will have to commute by public transportation. The company has moved four times in the past ten years—I'm speechless!
For those who like working in Taipei’s Eastern District, this might be considered an advantage.
They have started looking for an FAE engineer again recently. Why? Because another FAE has left. Since this FAE manager took office, four engineers have left over the past two years, yet the company has completely failed to hold this FAE manager accountable. That is because the general manager knew him and brought him into the company. In less than a year, he was promoted directly from an ordinary engineer to manager, pushing aside the senior FAE who had worked hard for years to advance from engineer to assistant manager and then manager. The new manager lacks ability, does not know how to manage, and has no understanding of office etiquette. Think carefully before becoming an engineer under him.
Because the boss has a strong ego and the company is rife with gossip, nearly half of the staff left some time ago, including excellent and experienced employees.
