The salary is good

Transportation is less convenient in the Wugu Industrial Park.

For warehouse work, the pay is acceptable.

HR claims that the year-end bonus is 2.5 months' salary, plus regular performance bonuses and profit allocations as employee dividends.

Upon entering, the receptionist spoke unclearly and was indifferent. They would forcibly take away your mobile phone and identification documents.

Next, you would be given basic information to fill out. Once finished, HR would take you upstairs for the interview.

The HR representative would first explain the company's benefits, then briefly ask about your past experience. After finishing, she would ask you to wait a moment.

After waiting for about ten minutes, another person claiming to be HR's supervisor would come over and begin a second round of questions and answers.

1. As soon as I came in, they began nitpicking my résumé. For warehouse work, I can pick, pack, and ship orders; inspect incoming goods; prepare production materials; use ERP and WMS systems; handle inbound and outbound inventory; issue and return materials for work orders; process miscellaneous receipts and issues; and receive and count completed goods into inventory. Yet I was described as someone who could do nothing.

2. They then brought up the fact that my previous company's name included “international logistics” and asked, “Is international logistics the same as general logistics?” I explained that international logistics also includes air and sea freight, rather than being the general logistics they had in mind. However, before I could finish speaking, they forcibly interrupted me and jumped to a conclusion.

※3. During my conversation with the HR supervisor, an elderly man suddenly came in without wearing a mask. He only went to get one after the HR supervisor reminded him several times.

From their conversation, I learned that he was the chairman. The chairman came in again afterward without saying a word, sat down, took my résumé away to look at it, placed it on the table, and left.

Finally, I interviewed with the department supervisor. That interview returned to normal. One point to note is that the entire department, including the supervisor, is small enough to count on one hand.

The HR supervisor's belittling attitude, the chairman's sudden intrusion, pretending to understand while not understanding, and mocking tone toward my former company may bother some people.

This job requires lifting heavy items. HR said around 10–20, while the department supervisor said around 30.

It’s a family-owned business. When I was working there, I often saw the MIS, procurement, and production control staff being called into meetings. Anyone considering applying for these positions should think carefully.

The colleagues are friendly and easy to get along with, and the team leader also takes good care of new employees.

During the interview, they did not mention that the performance bonus required reaching a certain quantity within a time limit. After I was hired, the team leader and colleagues also said there was no need to report work or count quantities. However, if you do not reach the required quantity, the manager will come and tell you that your output is insufficient and that you need to work faster. If you do not meet the requirement within three months, they will fire you. Some colleagues do not want to be pressured by their supervisors about their output, so they clock out early and continue staying to work overtime, pushing their numbers up to the required target. If you make a mistake, they will make you leave early. But once you have passed the three-month period, you become untouchable: regardless of your output or mistakes, you can stay. The company does not want to pay severance, so you can stay as long as you want. If you encounter pressure from a supervisor, you may be unable to take it and end up being forced to resign.

This HR department is absolutely ridiculous. They wasted nearly two hours of my time having me fill out information and take an English test, then after I finished, they said the manager thought my English ability didn't meet his requirements and ended the interview just like that. I have a TOEIC score of 975—how did I not meet the requirements? Do I need a 990? While I was taking the test, the HR representative was interviewing someone else right next door. Would it have been so difficult to use another meeting room? They still test English translation with pen and paper—what era are we living in? I felt like I was taking a quiz in elementary school. I wasted more than two hours writing a bunch of ridiculous test questions, and this company is truly speechless.
