After just ten minutes of the interview, I was dismissed because my qualifications did not meet expectations.
Then may I ask: couldn’t you have clearly stated the requirements in the job posting from the beginning?
Or should you have kept your eyes wide open and carefully read the applicant’s résumé before the interview?
Is the interviewee’s time free? Lorem
Fake flexibility scheduling
The three holiday gift payments are all convenience-store vouchers
They can only be used at a specific convenience store
They cannot be used to purchase cigarettes, alcohol, or other products
Very impractical
Whether the year-end bonus is paid is uncertain
There have been several years without a year-end bonus
Even when there is one, it is less than half a month’s base salary
All overtime is pressured to be converted into compensatory leave, with no overtime pay available
Naturally, compensatory leave is also unpaid
They say there is a guaranteed base salary every month
Before leaving, I used all my compensatory leave for overtime, national holidays, and annual leave
In total, I took nearly a month off
Yet they still did not pay the guaranteed base salary
They only praise colleagues with good sales performance, even when they are disorganized and difficult to get along with in other respects
Colleagues with average but decent sales performance and good abilities and performance in all other work are rated as lacking ability and not outstanding enough
I work overtime every month and am constantly reprimanded by my supervisor, yet my salary is still very low
Even if you keep climbing the ladder, your salary does not get any higher
Despite the poor economic climate, product prices continue to rise
When sales are poor, they blame us for having problems with our work abilities
There are plenty of days off (the longer you work, the more leave you get).
Although full-time employees have a fixed number of working hours per month, scheduling is fairly flexible.
Over the past year or two, the company has placed great emphasis on and strictly enforced the Labor Standards Act. Compliance with the Act is generally strictly implemented. It basically depends on what kind of store manager you encounter. An unfavorable store manager may violate the Labor Standards Act, but reporting them is usually quite effective.
There is a guaranteed base salary.
Occasionally, there are bonuses for achieving targets.
When the company was making money before, it even held a large sports event for all employees.
There is a year-end bonus (even when the company makes little profit, it still pays a year-end bonus to reward employees).
The company has many resources available for use.
The internal staff and business offices in each department help one another.
The promotion system and channels are well established (but even a talented person still needs to encounter an appreciative mentor; if your supervisor does not value you, you will not be promoted no matter how capable you are).
*The premise is that you encounter a good store manager and good colleagues; the work atmosphere is very enjoyable.*
Although the pros mention the year-end bonus, regardless of whether someone has been with the company for one, two, ten, or twenty years, whether they are a newcomer or a senior employee, and whether they work hard and strive to improve or simply coast, when the company says it is giving a one-month bonus, basically everyone receives exactly one month. This is somewhat unfair to employees who work hard and strive to improve.
The company basically only looks at results, not the process.
If your performance is poor, then you are considered entirely poor.
Even if employees with good performance are terrible in every other respect, the company will still consider them very good.
Weather the hard times together—the excuse heard most often. You can only clock in and out according to the company’s requirements; the rest of the time does not belong to you. You are under a responsibility-based system before and after work, and must also be on call at all times. When requesting leave, you must find someone to cover your shift; otherwise, you still have to come to work even when sick.
The advantage is that after resigning, you can handle any work-related difficulties with ease.
