The company’s internal systems are still rooted in technology from 35 years ago, and their logic and functional design lack long-term planning, making them exceptionally difficult to use

The general manager, in his rush to wash the chopsticks he is holding, will tell employees who are washing lunchboxes not to waste water. Some more perceptive supervisors will prioritize letting him wash the chopsticks. Interpret this culture for yourself

Absolutely do not go to the new X store. One of the managers there invites the owner's children to come to the store to “play,” ostensibly to help them earn pocket money, but in reality they just chat and fool around. Then the four of them sit and chat idly in the office, leaving one new employee standing alone at the counter to greet customers. The daughter is very troublesome and imitates the new employee's customer greetings. The manager also goes around lying that the other person quit without giving prior notice, badmouthing the new employee. It's really frightening—absolutely do not go~

Several years ago, at the Taichung X Zhong store,
I joined as a master's-level management trainee after an interview. The career path supposedly allowed one to be promoted faster than an on-site store manager.
At the time, the store manager, whose surname was the same as that of a Chinese dynasty, boasted all day about how many coffee machines she could operate at once at the high-speed rail station.
It was laughable—did your mother give birth to you just to operate coffee machines?
She was unbelievably arrogant, but acted like a dog whenever a department head came by.
She assigned you a pile of cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
Still, it's also thanks to your nonstop juggling of those pathetic tricks
that I ended up doing well after leaving, while you couldn't earn as much even after several years.
I've never seen a woman behave like that.
Being a store manager with so little social experience—truly pathetic.
Whenever a department head or other senior official came by, everyone had to stand rigidly at attention.
The whole place had a military culture, so I left after only two months.
My advice to everyone: if you're thinking of going, think it through very carefully.

When I was taking OC, they deliberately used a stopwatch to time me, saying that if I didn’t finish within five minutes, I wouldn’t be allowed to continue and would have to resume after work. A shady establishment deliberately trying to make people work unpaid overtime.
