Pros

After the self-introduction, they won’t ask you any professional questions. Instead, they keep telling you that your attire and grooming do not comply with the company’s and the boss’s requirements. Based on the key points I gathered from what they said, the marketing role involves handling marketing, public relations, and executive assistance simultaneously. There will be a marketing consultant who won’t assist you but will tell you what to do. The benefits are no better than those required by the Labor Standards Act. If you want to experience just how unacceptable your clothing is to them, you can go and see for yourself.

Cons

The first floor is very beautiful, and then there’s nothing else.... That’s a downside, I guess XD

Pros

Can't think of any.

Cons

Please think carefully before coming. If you are an office-based employee, the office is not what you imagine. The storefront is very beautiful, but the office is on the fourth floor above the store. The environment is poor and can hardly even be called an office—it feels more like a home studio and is extremely dim!

At the time, I applied for a marketing and public relations position, but after starting work, I discovered that the duties were hardly any different from those of an executive assistant. I also had to constantly gauge the mood of the boss (Teacher Lin Li). On my first day, I wore formal clothing: a UQ shirt, plaid suit trousers, and light makeup. However, shortly after I arrived and met Teacher Lin Li in person, she directly asked me, “Why are you dressed like that?” When I then asked how I should dress and do my makeup to meet the company’s requirements, she did not tell me. Instead, she said that people who are motivated would look it up online themselves… Her attitude was extremely poor! Little did she know that we had met less than half an hour earlier!

Also, don’t imagine that the company has a complete marketing team. During the interview, they made it sound as though the team had been operating for a long time and that this position would focus only on managing social media and posting content. After starting work, however, I found that the role included many executive-assistant duties, such as compiling meeting materials, notifying people of meeting times, preparing materials for meetings, and creating agendas. I felt deceived! So, everyone considering going there, please think carefully. They do have a brand, but internally, the company is truly not as it appears from the outside! You really need to think it over carefully. As a result, I did not complete the onboarding process and only went for one day! That’s right—before leaving that day, I directly told HR about these issues and had no intention of continuing to waste my time!

Pros

A 10 NTD deduction for being 1 minute late

Cons

I was told I got the job on the day of the interview, but the start date kept changing. I was always the one initiating inquiries. After asking again today, I learned that because the previous accountant is currently unemployed, they will make the previous accountant their primary candidate (during the interview, they said the previous accountant was unemployed and that they would ask them to come back for the handover). I’m furious—then they should have been honest instead of repeatedly saying that the previous accountant had something come up and suddenly couldn’t do the handover. Does everyone not need to work? After I filed a complaint with 104, they sent me a rejection notice, which made me even angrier. What is this supposed to mean? They were clearly the ones in the wrong, so why send me this letter? This is the first time I’ve encountered a company like this during a job interview. I have now closed the job listing. If it is reopened and a similar situation occurs, please be careful. Don’t make the same mistake I did and foolishly waste time waiting, only to end up with no income while still having to pay National Pension and National Health Insurance premiums. I could originally have transitioned seamlessly to the new job ≥﹏≤
