Pros

Medical assistance is provided, and it is convenient to find food and transportation nearby. The job is stable.

Cons

Employees are forced to make deductions for purchases at the hospital store, with NT$900 deducted each month. If there are too many points, they are automatically donated to the Ren’ai Foundation. The restaurant offers few dishes, and they are expensive (the employee section is also expensive and has limited options). Employee meals are not provided in the morning or evening. The dormitory is more expensive and more run-down than those at other hospitals, with poor and outdated facilities. There are very few bathroom facilities, and both the washing machines and spin dryers require payment. The salary is not higher, performance bonuses are lower than those at other hospitals, and the night-shift allowance is extremely low. The hardware and software are poor, and there are too few computers, so employees have to compete to use them. The equipment is similarly old and outdated. The changing room is very small, with insufficient personal space. The ward space is also very small, and the charges are high. Employees are subject to very many demands. Overall, I strongly do not recommend working here. If you come to work here, you will want to change jobs before long.

Pros

Stable

Cons

1. Mandatory wage deductions become “employee consumption points,” requiring employees to spend them at the terrible employee cafeteria—or donate them.

2. The senior-junior system among medical staff is more serious than at other hospitals. Even those with lower educational qualifications and poor skills must be treated deferentially and coaxed nicely simply because of their age.

3. Non-medical staff are also expected to respect senior nursing staff—even accountants and engineers have to. ^^

Who wants to play along with your nursing senior-junior system? This is ridiculous~

Pros

Convenience store, staff cafeteria

Cons

1. Nurse (senior colleague) — Relies on seniority, speaks arrogantly, is unreasonable, and shows no mercy when scolding people

2. Head nurse — Weak management experience and unable to manage the arrogant senior colleague

3. Caregiver (senior colleague) — Thinks that having enough seniority gives her the right to scold people arbitrarily; a frog in a well

4. Lunch is only 30 minutes. After quickly eating your boxed meal, you immediately have to return to work

5. Work is unevenly distributed. Everyone receives the same minimum wage, but some jobs are exhausting (I resigned after working there for only three weeks), while others are relaxed enough to use their phones

6. The cafeteria food is fairly tasty, but it is very small, and the food supply is basically insufficient

Overall: Not recommended. After joining, you will want to transfer to somewhere better

Pros

1. Harmonious relationships among colleagues

2. There is a convenience store on the first floor

3. Employee parking lot

Cons

1. The employee cafeteria is really terrible, and employees are forced to have the cost deducted from their pay.

2. For the sake of harmony within the department, employees with excessively poor performance evaluations will be dismissed. Performance evaluations are assigned on a rotating basis, so diligent employees and those who slack off end up with the same results. This drives out the good employees while those with poor work abilities or who slack off remain safe and secure.

3. When arranging leave, you will see some senior employees constantly calculating the schedule to make their own schedules perfect, even putting their work aside.

4. The salary is below the general market rate, and the year-end bonus and bonuses for the three major festivals are embarrassingly low, but overall the work environment is better than nothing.

Pros

Stable; having no system is also a kind of system

The contract guarantees leave, but provides no overtime pay

The salary is definitely above 30k

Colleagues are easy to get along with

Suitable for obedient, compliant people who do whatever is asked, are content with the status quo, and like cleaning up other people's messes 👍🏻

Cons

There is no system; whatever the people above say goes

Disregards the Labor Standards Act and the one-fixed-day-off-and-one-flexible-rest-day policy (although this is quite normal at present)

Managers who take advantage of others

Public-relations staff who take advantage of others

Patients who take advantage of others

There is a princess-like colleague who often disappears during work hours yet can still receive an A+ performance rating

Contradicting the higher-ups is strictly forbidden; obedience is preferred

Healthcare is a service industry—just treat it like Wang Steak

The employee cafeteria food is terrible
