Pros

The company atmosphere has always been very good. The boss is kind-hearted and dedicated to running the company, and the vice president is also tireless in training and guiding the sales staff. Some sales employees have been with the company for two years without any results, yet the company continues to give them opportunities and repeatedly provides ongoing training. If you truly have the ability, this is an environment with great potential for you to make your mark—unless you lack genuine ability.

Pros

1. If you want to move goods, you can go there—there are lots of masks to move, so it counts as exercise.

Cons

1. Calls coming in aren’t from salespeople wanting to buy masks; they’re all from suppliers and companies calling about overdue payments.

2. Many tasks go undone, and the few remaining employees push them off onto one another.

3. The company made no preparations whatsoever for the pandemic, leaving employees to fend for themselves.

4. The middle-aged female vice president only talks nonsense and shirks responsibility without taking accountability. She is slow to make decisions, penny-wise and pound-foolish, takes advantage of suppliers, is often late for work, says internal controls must be followed but leads by violating them herself, and engages in infighting to eliminate dissenters. People are often dismissed by her.

5. The masks are made with materials manufactured in mainland China.

6. The company often receives letters from the courts and the Labor Bureau, having been sued or reported.

Great office environment!

Leaving work on time, with very few opportunities for overtime

Lots of room to make an impact in the role

Once you get familiar with them, the manager is very easy to get along with

The cleaning lady organizes the office every week, so it’s very clean

It’s possible to balance work and family, and taking leave is not made difficult or met with disapproval

Cons

More bonus schemes could be designed to give other employees a chance to compete for performance bonuses

Pros

You can buy very poor-quality single-embossed masks for under NT$150.

Cons

1. It’s really terrible—don’t doubt it.

2. Just look at how many people are left in the office.

3. The company has no MIS and still uses 15-inch monitors. Whether you think that’s good or bad, judge for yourself.

4. The vice president does nothing but talk all day—no clients and no results.

5. Business travel expenses are made difficult for sales staff. Consider that for yourself.

6. The sales manager only knows how to make empty promises, then spends all day lying and slacking off—a washed-up old-timer with no results and no clients, who can still go out and loaf around all day, tricking subordinates into attending meetings. They really take everyone for idiots.

Pros

Punctual working hours

Cons

Do not go, do not go, do not go. It is very important, so I’ll say it three times. If you don’t believe me and go, you’ll know what I mean.

Pros

Interview stage:

1. During the interview, the manager places considerable emphasis on your past experience, making sure that you understand it and can actually do it… If you can answer all of these questions fluently and handle yourself with ease, that will earn you a lot of extra points.

2. The manager will also throw out other questions to see how you react and handle them. I think it’s best to answer honestly. If there are areas you’re less familiar with, briefly explain that and express your willingness to learn. This lets the manager know that although you’re not strong in that area, you’re willing to learn, which will also leave a good impression…

After joining the company:

1. The company is located on Dunhua North Road, lined with lush trees—one of my favorite Taipei streetscapes. It takes about 10 minutes to walk there from Taipei Arena at a leisurely pace. There are many commercial buildings, the Mandarin Oriental hotel, convenience stores, and tons of banks nearby, so it’s very convenient and easy to pick up supplies along the way… The Dunbei streetscape is beautiful both day and night! Just walking there makes you feel more refined~ ^^

2. The office is very bright, and you can see the Dunbei streetscape right outside the windows. The desks and chairs are fairly new, and even regular employees have high-back chairs, so it’s very comfortable to lean back and rest during lunch!

3. The company’s lunch break is from 12:30 to 13:30, which conveniently avoids the crowds of office workers who take lunch at 12:00.

4. There are several bento shops behind the building, as well as breakfast shops, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, a 7-Eleven, and My Warm Day. Most of the bento meals cost under 100, and they’re pretty tasty. For this location, I think the prices are quite reasonable~ There’s also a McDonald’s across the street…

Office atmosphere:

1. If you’re someone who can hit the ground running, this is a great place to put your skills to use. If not, you’ll need to spend some time getting adjusted. Once the manager confirms that you and they are aligned on your approach and ideas, they generally won’t interfere much—as long as the results meet expectations and are delivered on time, it’s okay. This is a great place for people who like to exercise their imagination.

2. When discussing projects, if you have better ideas or relevant past experience, you can share them with the manager so you’re both on the same page. Doing so also reduces the likelihood of failure.

3. The colleagues and managers are fairly easy to get along with—maybe because I’m a rookie… haha!!

4. There aren’t many opportunities for overtime at the company, and most people can leave work on time.

Every industry has its ups and downs, but overall, this is a friendly company~

Cons

One of the advantages is also a drawback: if you happen to wake up late, walking from Taipei Arena to here in the summer will leave you drenched in sweat... @@

Pros

None

Cons

1. Free calls within the same high-ranking network, but there is severe internal infighting.

2. A supervisor named Stanley Wu joined the company. He is a habitual liar; the job responsibilities described in the offer do not match the actual work, and he sows discord. Most importantly, he frequently threatens employees by invoking the supervisor's authority to decide whether their employment will continue.

3. The supervisor surnamed Wu pressures people who have not yet started working to do some work for the company for free in advance.

4. The supervisor surnamed Wu uses the probationary period as a pretext to reduce salaries.

5. The company's official website does not match its actual operations. It has no core products or services, and the company is not profitable.

6. Seventy percent of the content announced on the official website is false or problematic. Do not be fooled.

Cons

(1) Filling out the résumé without listing the ages and salaries of family members

I explained that what matters is my professional skills and experience,

but the interviewer told me that this can show whether a person

is careful in their work, whether they are thorough, and whether they cooperate—

doing whatever the supervisor asks you to do.

(2) The supervisor did not respect the interviewee during the interview

Whenever someone passed by the meeting room, the supervisor would widen their eyes to see who it was.

This happened approximately 20–30 times, showing that they were very uneasy about what others were doing.

They were not focused during the interview, which left the interviewee with a poor impression.

(3) The supervisor would forget things you had already mentioned during the interview.

You had to repeat what you had said, as if they did not care about what the interviewee had said,

making one wonder whether they were listening attentively.

(4) During the interview, the supervisor repeatedly mentioned

that the company was not a place for training people for other companies.

People like that did not need to come to work at all; they could just look for a job paying 22K.

This gave the impression that the company had a very high turnover rate

and was unable to retain talent,

which was why the supervisor kept complaining about training people for others.
