Redman Security Co., Ltd. sent an interview invitation.
After arriving at the interview location, I discovered that the company was actually Liang Fu Security Co., Ltd., not Redman Security Co., Ltd.
They may be related, so I’m posting this here as well.
When I arrived at the entrance to the designated floor, the person conducting the interview said they couldn’t make it in time at the last minute and had someone else conduct the interview instead.
The position I applied for was completely different from the one actually discussed. From beginning to end, they kept trying to push me into a position that needed staff.
The substitute interviewer and the person who arranged the interview both pretended not to understand.
I applied for position A, but they asked whether I could accept position B. Of course not.
During the process, they tried to brainwash me into taking position B.
In addition to the substitute interviewer, another staff member who happened to pass by also got involved during the interview.
They tried to probe into my previous employment. Even when I declined to answer on privacy grounds, they continued to fish for information indirectly.
It was already bad enough to have uninvolved people interrupting the interview.
They kept testing me as well. It was truly awful.
The substitute interviewer told me the working hours, but the interview location was completely different from what had been stated at the time.
They also used moral pressure in an attempt to get me to take the position they wanted me to take.
Basically, unless something that happens is too serious, they won’t tell you to get lost, because this company doesn’t have many advantages and has a whole pile of shortcomings. So no one will hold on to their position or stay for long; they’re already overjoyed whenever someone is willing to do the work.
They very often give you less than what they are supposed to. In any case, for anything you think is normal or only to be expected, you’d better confirm it repeatedly to avoid having your rights and interests harmed. If you don’t report it, they’ll just brush it off and say it’s your own fault for not reporting it. If you actually encounter anything illegal, I recommend that you definitely tell your supervisor. If you’ve told your supervisor and they still refuse to deal with it, report it before you leave. Don’t harm your own rights and interests. I now see nine violations of the law—I think one or two zeros should probably be added. It’s really hilarious.
Not much to say for the pros
I contracted COVID due to work.
The supervisor’s only response was:
"If you’re not going to work, then go ahead and process your resignation first."
They completely stopped caring about the employee’s well-being.
Even when I asked whether there was any subsidy I could apply for, they still gave off the feeling of “If you’re not going to work, then get lost.”
The colleagues are all nice and quite easy to get along with.
Sometimes you have to work overtime at short notice, and there is little time off.
Most of the colleagues are pretty nice.
Because I spend most of my time at the airport, I don't have much desire for material possessions, and my time is tied up here, so I can save money.
They say one thing and do another—in short, they love making grand promises.
At first, the recruitment advertisement said the pay was 42k, but it turns out you have to work 288 hours to earn 42k (and labor and health insurance premiums are deducted separately).
At the initial joint recruitment briefing, they said the schedule would be two days on and one day off, but in reality, working 5–6 hours was the norm.
The pay is also frequently calculated incorrectly (hourly wage: 141).
When selecting supervisors and team leaders, the higher-ups also only chose people with military ranks in the Republic of China Armed Forces.

The wages are often calculated incorrectly and underpaid. Remember to check your salary every month and keep your payslips.
The labor pension is insured at an insufficient amount. Remember to ask the company about it; the company will make up the difference (the company is not afraid of breaking the law, as fully insuring it would result in greater losses).
At sites in poorer condition, even the chief supervisor is reluctant to come, leaving things unmanaged, but there is an owner keeping an eye on things.
More than NT$100 is deducted every month for welfare funds; NT$200 for each of the three major holidays and NT$300 for birthdays. If we’re paying it to ourselves, how is that a welfare benefit?
Even though I don’t handle financial petty cash, I still have to pay more fidelity insurance than bank employees...
The overtime pay is lower than the basic hourly wage. After agreeing to the requested overtime rate (originally NT$120, agreed after discussion at NT$125), payroll said they had never agreed to it (the deposit was still NT$120).
With a basic hourly wage of NT$133, who would want to work overtime?
