The air conditioning is cool
The office is on the fifth floor, and you have to take the stairs
Including this vacancy, there are only three people in the unit, but it is extremely quiet
Also, the senior employee in the office has very traditional and conservative views
Their facial expressions when speaking can make people uncomfortable, so you need to get used to them
The senior employee was very quiet when interviewing new hires, but once working together, they had many issues
They were unwilling to apply to the hospital for a voice recorder
Therefore, everyone has to buy one (needed for meetings), approximately one month’s use per year
Also, meetings require arriving at 6 a.m.
They may also expect new employees to take relevant courses externally
The part-time position is a one-year contract
Basically, they currently only plan to recruit part-time staff
If you’re assigned to the right place, it’s pretty comfortable. Because they’re so understaffed, you can slack off a lot without getting fired.
The only way to get a raise is through an advancement evaluation system (but passing it is nearly impossible, and even if you pass, the increase is so small it feels insulting).
The starting salary is also low, which means the pay is always terrible.
The turnover rate has been very high in recent years, especially among younger employees, who can’t stand staying. The ones who remain are mostly old-timers.
Looking for something stable; it’s okay.
Low salary, with pay that never gets adjusted. The entire management team at this family-owned business just flatters the boss.
Senior employees act entitled and slack off.
For clinical staff working three shifts, annual leave hours are, on the surface, provided according to regulations, but in practice they are all arranged by unit supervisors and scattered across different months and weeks. Trying to use annual leave to arrange consecutive days off is completely unrealistic because you have no authority to schedule your own leave at all! They say it is because staffing is tight that they cannot let us arrange consecutive days off, but senior management says they will not add staff! The staffing shortage causes colleagues’ accumulated leave hours to increase, and senior management then pressures us by saying that the unit’s accumulated leave is too high and that we should find ways to reduce the hours.
A bunch of long-time senior employees. Salaries never increase.
