Pros

National holidays are always off. Other days off depend on each clinic’s shift schedule; as long as staffing is sufficient, it is possible to take the days off you want.

Paychecks are issued on time.

Cons

The division of responsibilities is unclear, and it is normal for one person to handle multiple jobs. At this company, being proactive and eager to learn is not necessarily a good thing; employees who refuse additional tasks tend to have a better quality of life.

There are no bonuses for the three major holidays. Although performance or sales bonus schemes exist, the amounts paid often do not match the amounts credited, so you have to monitor them yourself and maintain close contact with the accounting staff.

There is a negative-hours policy. If you do not meet the required working hours for the month, your pay will be deducted.

There are virtually no internal controls. The company lacks consistent rules and systems, and its corporate culture is governed entirely by individuals. Senior managers often make arbitrary decisions and issue orders on a whim, yet may not remember what they themselves have said, leaving frontline staff confused. Things that were previously promised can be reversed within a single day. They also frequently contact clients, handle only part of the matter, and then hand it over to frontline staff. If the outcome does not meet the supervisor’s expectations, you may inevitably receive another round of “instruction.”

If you are fortunate enough to interact with the alliance’s director-general, remember that you do not need to understand his emotions; you only need to make sure everything proceeds according to his preferences and habits.

Pros

1. Red-letter days off; holidays are taken in accordance with the Labor Standards Act, making it suitable for people with children and families.

Cons

1. No year-end bonus, bonuses for the three major holidays, or gift money; employees are still charged when seeing a doctor.

2. A family business. Several long-serving employees who rely on being the boss’s relatives are very good at ordering other employees around. Nonprofessionals give professional guidance, even though they actually know nothing.

3. The boss (the hospital director) has a bad temper and is always late. You can get a rough idea just by looking at the Google reviews—it wastes everyone’s time.

4. One person is used as N people; assigning more work does not come with a pay raise.

5. When the hired physicians have problems, all responsibility is shifted onto ordinary employees: it is always that the staff did not explain things clearly, and everything is the staff’s problem. The doctors are absolutely never at fault. (There have been more than one or two cases involving complaints about doctors.)

6. There are no principles; the rules depend entirely on the boss’s mood.

7. Senior managers can never make decisions and only dodge the issue.
