Pros

Pros

You can learn to become more calculating and enjoy secondhand smoke.

If you want to become more scheming, come to Sideman!

Cons

Cons

1. The boss deliberately starts chatting with you and asks you to do things just before the end of the workday.

2. If you have value to exploit, you are treated like a treasure; if you have no value to exploit, you are treated like grass. In fact, a bunch of useless people are kept around.

3. A certain vice president surnamed Chen hides a knife behind a smile and is two-faced.

4. A certain vice president surnamed Chen is both the human and the ghost.

5. The salary and benefits are extremely poor. Whether you work overtime is your own problem.

6. A certain boss surnamed Lin, a boss surnamed Lai, and Vice President Chen use all kinds of methods and excuses to drive out employees after they have finished exploiting them.

7. There is a severe smell of smoke in the office. The boss and coworkers smoke on the balcony every day, and the boss also frequently bursts into loud laughter. The boss spends eight hours a day there; I would say six of those hours are spent on the balcony talking about secrets and badmouthing employees. Anyone who wants to get lung cancer can come work here.

8. A certain boss surnamed Lai and Vice President Chen are extremely suspicious. Even if you look at your phone or reply to a message during a break in your work, they still complain and nitpick. They monitor you constantly.

9. Employees are treated worse than dogs. We still have not received a New Year’s red envelope this year, and you are expected to handle design, moving goods, and packing.

10. The boss will suddenly stand far away or behind an employee and secretly watch without saying anything.

Note: This company has infinitely many flaws.

It is impossible to list them all one by one.

Based on the ten points above,

Anyone who wants to waste their life, ruin their health, always earn a low salary, or even personally destroy their own career should hurry and join this company.

5. The pay and benefits are extremely poor

6. A certain Mr. Lin, Mr. Lai, and Ms. Chiu will use all kinds of methods to get rid of an employee once they have finished exploiting them

7. A smell of feces may emerge from the office at any time

8. A certain Mr. Lin and Mr. Lai particularly like assigning employees miscellaneous tasks five minutes before the end of the workday

10. Employees are treated worse than dogs

Pros

The atmosphere among colleagues is harmonious, with a strong sense of solidarity.

Cons

Be mentally prepared for the interview—you may have to wait a very, very long time.

It’s a small company, so job responsibilities aren’t clearly divided, there’s no established system, and everyone has to know how to do everything. Work is based on a responsibility system—you’re destined to work yourself to the bone.

Policies often change overnight, and policy information isn’t consistent.

As a result, you often have to work overtime, with no overtime pay. It’s a completely all-inclusive responsibility system.

The same few people are always the ones who get worn out.

As long as you flatter the boss, you can comfortably stay until retirement.

However, the boss is extremely suspicious, doesn’t really trust other people, and is very, very stingy—super stingy.

Employees aren’t treated like human beings. If the boss wants to fire you, they’ll start using petty tactics to force you to leave on your own.

A strong smell of feces may drift into the office.

There’s no year-end party, no spring banquet, and the year-end bonus is less than one month’s salary—but there is a $200 red envelope for returning to work after the New Year XD

Pros

If you want to learn. Because there will be many unreasonable demands, being able to handle them becomes your own experience (but there is no compensation). To be honest, there are no advantages.

Cons

There is no overtime pay. Salaries are underreported (labor insurance). There are no employee trips (the two bosses say every year that they will take employees to Thailand, but it is just a lie). Sales staff receive no bonuses (they say the year-end bonus will be paid all at once, but the actual amount can be about five times lower than expected. For example, suppose the annual bonus should amount to NT$150,000–300,000, but the year-end bonus works out to only NT$50,000, approximately one to one and a half months’ salary).

One year, the employee gifts at the year-end party were exchange gifts that employees had to purchase themselves (with a limit of NT$1,000).

One year, the prizes were gift vouchers obtained from vendors for employees to draw. This year was even worse: the year-end party was canceled and replaced with a spring banquet (with no prizes or bonuses).

The company has no planning or systems. Policies are frequently changed overnight. There is no annual product planning; the roadmap is for reference only.

In short, although jobs are hard to find, you absolutely should not come here and waste your life.
