Pros

This time, I received an invitation to a second-round interview. During the initial interview, I felt the HR representative’s enthusiasm, and I was a little overwhelmed by how lively they were. The explanations of the company’s development and benefits were fairly clear.

For the second-round interview with the senior sales manager, the entire process was quite relaxed and pleasant. The team felt very young, but the content they shared was very insightful, and the manager’s analytical skills were also quite strong. They provided a comprehensive explanation of future development opportunities and were able to answer the questions I wanted to understand. They also explained what to expect after joining the company, among other things. The sales and back-office colleagues seemed to get along very well, and the company emphasizes fairness and cooperation among departments. The interview experience felt very sincere. There are also opportunities to collaborate on projects across teams and learn from one another. The bonus structure was explained very clearly, and the commission rate sounds fairly high compared with what I’ve heard elsewhere. There are also many advertising products and resources available. It seems to be a pretty good multinational agency. However, I’m still waiting for the offer. There seemed to be quite a few interviewees, and I heard from the sales manager that the company’s employee turnover rate is relatively low, though I don’t know whether that’s true.

Cons

The sales role requires bringing in new clients, so it should be quite suitable for salespeople who want to make money.

Pros

1. The base salary is okay; during the interview, I recommend asking clearly whether the bonus structure is what you’re looking for.

2. The AM team is also decent. The media-buying and advertising industry is inherently full of a lot of messy situations, especially since most clients are small and medium-sized businesses that often don’t understand the industry and have a lot of issues. As long as you conduct yourself properly and have nothing to hide, your manager will support you and may even stand up for you against other departments. But this only applies if you haven’t done anything wrong—otherwise, even if your manager wants to help, they won’t have a leg to stand on.

3. Although the administrative department has quite a few minor details and miscellaneous tasks, the overall atmosphere feels very peaceful.

4. There are many air purifiers in the office...

5. Excluding the year-end party, there are two large-scale events every year, plus a birthday celebration every two months.

Cons

1. Non-government-mandated rewards (the three traditional holiday bonuses, year-end party lucky draws, and year-end bonuses) are all very meager. Overall, the benefits are only a tiny bit better than what is required by the Labor Standards Act. Every time I see friends at other companies complaining about the consolation prizes they won, I feel really sad... because those prizes are usually about the same as our grand prize.

2. Some department members are genuinely not very professional, and there is no culture of improving one’s expertise. Many of the kind and honest people have already left, so during the interview, you may want to discuss values in greater depth.

3. Some of the benefits listed on 104 are exclusive to senior employees, so remember to ask for clarification about this as well.

Pros

1. It’s rare to find a company where supervisors lead from the employees’ perspective and at their level.

2. Those looking for three annual bonuses need not consider this company.

3. However, those who want to learn and move forward, and believe that equal effort will bring equal rewards (salary), are welcome to apply.
