The company itself has some issues. Some undesirable people in the marketing department influenced the overall direction and were ultimately laid off. Decisions made by the Hong Kong headquarters tied Taiwan's hands, leaving it unable to accomplish anything.

This company is actually a good and well-known company.
It’s just that the management and personnel handling at the Taiwan branch are extremely poor, which is why it has received so many negative reviews.
A new group has replaced the old colleagues. Basically, the regional manager is the person who has been with the company the longest; many of the others have only worked there for one or two years.
When I first joined, former colleagues all said they had been unhappy at work, which was why they left. When I asked why, they did not say much. I initially refused to believe it, but it turned out that there really was a lot they could not say.
The company had not made money for a long time, so it laid off staff, leaving around ten people.
The environment is like a department store or a traditional market.

- Colleagues like to form cliques and stand around loudly discussing their own affairs.
- Colleagues are very exclusionary. Apart from clients or people in their own circles, they treat everyone else as if they were enemies. They do not communicate directly, instead having an intermediary ask and relay messages.

he will deliberately make things difficult for them at work (the one who wears glasses).
He intentionally orders others to do things that he himself would not do, that are unrelated to their positions, or that are not part of their responsibilities at all.

If someone does not express an opinion on political issues, they will form a clique and mock that person for not caring about politics, using verbal attacks as the standard for political commitment (I’m talking about you, editor who graduated from Fu Jen Catholic University’s night division).

basically, the regional manager does not pay much attention to things.
What he wants most is a harmonious environment.
He avoids all other problems and simply lies around collecting a salary.
After working here for over a year, I find the company atmosphere very poor. The department I’m in should be relatively safe because I report directly to the top manager in Taiwan. As long as I listen to him and take his side, I can survive there.
Colleagues in other departments have it quite tough. They are given a hard time no matter what they do. Fortunately, I work under the senior manager; as long as I help him make things difficult for others, I can coast along while looking for my next job.

The senior manager often disappears (a somewhat sloppy middle-aged man who is extremely out of touch with online and food-service news, which is very bizarre), and no one supervises us at work (because headquarters is in Hong Kong, even the administrative staff often wear headphones while watching TV dramas)．．．．．．．
Although business performance is poor, the Hong Kong headquarters simply lets it go, making this a suitable place to coast toward retirement.
The actual scope of work was completely different from what was described during the interview. I was told I would be able to learn marketing planning, but instead I was given the work of a sales assistant. I have to ask colleagues about many things. It would be understandable if the manager did not know, but when I ask him, he berates me because of his unstable emotions.
The company atmosphere is strange. Many people simply do their own thing. The marketing department is cohesive but has no resources, although they do not seem very happy with the work either.
Basically, it is a case of being far from the emperor's reach. They even rationalize selling food reviews, taking on a large number of money-losing projects just so the figures on paper can be used to claim credit with headquarters. The head of sales at this company really has absolutely no concept of costs—it's quite unbelievable!
Another strange thing is that the senior manager often asks us to do bizarre things to target the marketing department. He also frequently says, halfway through a task, that he never said that, then suddenly loses his temper and rages at us, only to apologize privately with a cheeky grin and pretend nothing happened．．．．．．．
In short, this company is very strange. Given how much the senior manager in Taiwan slacks off, he will probably bring the company down at any time, right? (Once, I asked him about evaluation metrics for the effectiveness of online advertising, and he actually had no idea what CPC/CPA/CTR were.)
