My résumé clearly stated that my expected salary was 55k or above. After I arrived, filled out the information, and waited about 15 minutes, the interviewer showed up with a world-weary expression and said they could only offer 30k, which did not meet my requirements and was not suitable for me. Why invite me to an interview in the first place and waste my time?

Pros

There are absolutely no advantages or systems. Managers all lead the way in bullying employees. To cover up their own incompetence and greed, they resort to all kinds of tactics to spread rumors, smear, and frame others. I’ve also heard that many supervisors team up with friends’ companies to charge the company under various pretexts, or sell products to the company at prices higher than market rates. Although this is only hearsay, who knows? Also, an entire department reportedly left, which must indicate serious management problems. They are always pointing at others and saying that others don’t understand. Although these are all internal rumors, be very cautious about joining a company like this….

Cons

It’s impossible to say it all—a bunch of incompetents.

This brand looks glamorous on the outside, but in reality it simply can't afford to pay its employees.

There are no holiday bonuses, only vouchers for a certain restaurant.

And those vouchers are actually paid for by deducting several hundred dollars from employees' salaries every month as the company's entertainment expenses, and then giving them back to employees.

In other words, during the three major holidays, you spend several thousand dollars of your own money buying meal vouchers to give yourself—how nice!

If you apply for overtime pay, the district manager will scold you first, so you can only make up the hours instead.

The district managers are all creatures who only know how to yell and say nasty things, without a shred of logic.

If sales targets aren't met, they tell you to write a 100-word report?

Will writing a report improve sales? Then if I write 1,000 words about Taiwan's economy every day, wouldn't Taiwan's economy take off!

They think the cabinets are too dirty, so they make employees scrub the floor with scouring pads while the department store is still open?

There are also many store managers who seem to have been bewitched by the district managers and obey them unquestioningly, dumping everything on new hires.

They fight over sales like they're fighting over money. I thought they were The Flash! Turns out they're just coworkers.

Oh, I made a mistake earlier. It's not that they can't afford to pay employees.

It's just that I heard the finance people or managers or whoever have taken a lot of money internally, and I don't know whether it's clean money or not. That's just what I heard!

Seeing them post luxury goods all day, they seem truly happy!

It looks like a counter-sales job that many fresh graduates would admire.

In reality, when you first join, you can only be a gofer.

If you want to challenge your limits or learn how coworkers scheme against one another, feel free to apply for an interview!

You may still encounter senior employees who are willing to teach you things. There are still some clear-headed people among the old-timers.

But I guess they'll all advise you to leave anyway.

Everyone also knows that this brand has been around for nearly 17 years.

Those old-timers have held their positions firmly and filled all the slots. If you want a promotion...

It would be faster to reincarnate!

Wondering what “if the upper beam is crooked, the lower beams will be bent” means? Go there and find out~

Wishing everyone a happy job hunt!

Very occasionally, you can get cake from the company's cafeteria for free.

Cons

The company's operations are in very poor condition. It keeps losing money and closing stores, and most people have barely received any salary increases. Management constantly uses these issues to pressure everyone during meetings, even though most of us are not in business-related departments. As a result, the budget is kept extremely tight, yet more and more activities are organized, each one more ostentatious than the last. Senior management likes to curry favor with the France and Hong Kong Asia-Pacific headquarters, but they frequently verbally abuse middle managers. Salaries for non-management employees are very low, and their titles are also kept at a low level. Promotions are difficult, while there is a great deal of work and everyone is extremely busy. As a result, employee turnover has been very high over the past few years. The benefits are basically those of a fake foreign company. Most of the remaining employees are senior management and new hires with less than three years of tenure; there are pitifully few mid-career employees.
