Last week, I had an online interview for a Quality Assurance Supervisor position. The interviewer was the head of the Administration Department. Not only was the interviewer 15 minutes late, but they also answered the phone twice during the interview... What made me most angry was that the interviewer was completely unfamiliar with quality assurance as a profession. After asking about my experience (my previous job mainly involved handling customer complaints, writing 8D reports, determining nonconformities, etc.; I had also worked as a manager in mainland China for ten years), they actually said that my experience was not related to quality assurance.... I briefly explained that quality assurance includes the distinction between quality control and quality assurance, handling customer complaints, and so on, but the interviewer would not accept it~
At that moment, I felt that this company did not take recruiting talent seriously at all. Even if I had been hired on the spot, I would not have agreed to start working there...
There are hardly any advantages, only lunch and ground coffee are provided.
If you want to take this job, be mentally prepared to be worked to the bone. If you throw out your back or strain your leg, you have to handle the leave yourself and even obtain a medical certificate. You are also forced to attend meetings after work, without night-meal or overtime pay. If you do not attend the quarterly meeting, the Manufacturing Department will threaten you with a resignation form. There is absolutely no master-apprentice tradition or knowledge transfer. I had been with the company for four months and was assigned to the rolling department, but spent 3.5 months in the stamping department. That alone would have been fine! I felt that the work in stamping was fulfilling and wanted to transfer to stamping, but my supervisor said my salary would be reduced. In addition, I already had experience in quality control. When I proposed transferring to quality control after one month of employment, my supervisor replied, “First, gain experience on the production floor to understand the products.” In the end, I still had no answer by the time I wanted to resign. Although I have not resigned yet, I am waiting to see what happens before my leave after the Manufacturing Department manager taunted me to take a resignation form because I did not attend the quarterly meeting after work. In any case, all meetings after work are compulsory and unpaid. If you want to join this company, you need to be mentally prepared.

A manager at this level offers a salary of less than 60k—I’m speechless.
1. Stable, suitable for settling down.
2. Lunch is provided, and employees are also given uniforms.
1. There is a written test (short-answer questions). The content is related to the position applied for and asks about experiences, handling matters, and responses in your previous job. It takes about half an hour.
2. They said there is no overtime, but the position is under a responsibility-based system. If overtime is really required, whether overtime pay is provided depends on the department manager. The manager said the company is currently expanding, so it needs to “cut costs” as much as possible.
3. Employees are given classes after work from time to time (on an ongoing basis).
4. They ask many personal questions, such as family circumstances and members, what positions you held at school, what you do after work, whether you are single and unmarried, your future plans, your interests, and why you are still applying for an assistant position after working for many years.
5. For an assistant, an initial salary below 28K is to be expected. After that, it depends on individual performance; your salary may be increased or decreased.
6. As long as it is an assistant-level position, even candidates worth 35–40K are offered only a salary of 25–28K. The same applies even if you have relevant job or industry experience; they are only willing to offer the salary range for “this position.” This is also the case even if they invited you to the interview.
7. They emphasize that the company is an industry leader, but… well…
8. They probe deeply into the reason for leaving your previous company.
Large company, bright environment.
The manager does not like subordinates gossiping.
23K, asks many personal questions.
The company is located near Yongning in Tucheng.
The contact person was very polite.
The interviewer provided a detailed explanation of the industry, job responsibilities, and future prospects.
I was not informed before the interview that there would be a computer-based test.
