After reading through many posts, my conclusion is: excessive overtime is highly likely, with little or no extra pay; sudden layoffs without warning; and severe cliques.
There are currently no shifts, but shift work is planned.
Working past six is routine overtime, and working overtime on holidays is also routine.
The HR staff seem to have it quite tough too, having to make phone calls even on Saturdays and Sundays.
There is nothing in particular you need to be good at—in other words, you do not need to know anything or be particularly motivated.
You will not see people from other departments, nor will you have opportunities for promotion or to learn from other departments.
All they want are stable, long-term “workers.”
Personally, I think it is most suitable for mothers who want a stable salary (especially those who do not want to see their husbands or children).
A company everyone envies, yet with endless overtime: your pockets may be full, but you lose your quality of life.
