Work assignments among the engineers are uneven, and performance evaluations are unreasonable. The more capable the engineer, the more difficult cases they usually receive, but the effort and time spent writing difficult cases are disproportionate to the performance points awarded by the supervisor. In addition, each quarter, engineers’ performance evaluations are assessed against the same standards as those of engineers who regularly write cases of average difficulty or translation cases.
