The location is relatively far, and it is some distance from the MRT station;
Time is controlled relatively strictly, and if you return late after lunch, you will be “checked on”;
The boss has poor management skills, and there are far too many company chat groups. He forgets things he has assigned or things employees have told him;
The boss and his wife need to improve their listening skills. If the Partner or colleagues make suggestions that do not align with their views, they are immediately contradicted, and emotional situations may arise;
Regarding trust, colleagues have all raised concerns before, but none of them were successful. The boss strongly believes in his own views and thinks he cannot be wrong;
When the boss and his wife disagree at work, they spend additional time communicating, so efficiency is not high for a startup;
There are instances of people with no expertise managing those who are experts;
Colleagues have all reported a situation of high salaries but low benefits, as well as late enrollment in benefits;
Authority is given to experienced managers but is often taken back, causing the originally anticipated morale among colleagues to decline;
I personally do not recommend it.

We scheduled an interview for a certain time.
The day before, they urgently said they wanted to chat via LINE first.
They also seemed somewhat impatient during the waiting period.
After the chat, they even said I could take some time to think about things like the questions I wanted to ask the next day.
But when I went there the next day, HR only told me that the manager was not there and that the manager had said I was unsuitable......
If they thought I wasn’t a good fit, they could have said so earlier. They didn’t cancel and made me make a wasted trip. (This is the first time I’ve encountered a company like this.)
The colleagues are all really nice. The office air conditioning is very comfortable, and the rooftop has a great view—you can see Taipei 101.
The bidet toilet is hen good 😏
Most of the other things I wanted to say have already been covered in the other reviews.
I really have to emphasize again that it is outrageous that interns are not covered by labor and health insurance. Also, the employees’ labor and health insurance coverage is handled improperly: enrollment is delayed, withdrawal is done early, and the insured salary amounts that should be reported are underreported for higher-paid employees.
When a company is managed jointly by the boss and the boss’s wife, one plays the bad cop and the other the good cop. Then the one playing the good cop is not actually sincere about it either—she only puts on a good appearance in public but acts completely differently in private. The boss also says one thing and does another, making him completely untrustworthy. This is not just how they treat interns; they treat full-time employees the same way.
The boss interviewed an engineer himself and let him onboard without going through the technical director or PM. Although, as the boss, he has the authority to do that. Fine, but the person who joined did not seem to know what he was doing at all. He apparently sounded very capable and said he could make apps and such, so the boss seemed to immediately hand him a bunch of newly acquired projects and trust him a lot. But when the deadline arrived, nothing was ready, and he just tried to fob everyone off with a picture. Even more ridiculously, he simply stopped coming to work the next day and vanished into thin air. Just great!
The boss also completely distrusts the engineers—he even locks down GitHub permissions, creating a lot of completely unnecessary trouble in the development process. The requirements documents are scattered all over the internet too: one moment they are on Trello, then Google Drive, then email. This has been brought up several times, but nothing has improved; it is still the same.
The boss’s wife is completely a bully to the weak and a coward toward the strong (huh?).
In short—in total, in summary—
this company is absolutely ridiculous. It is ridiculous like a diabolo, and it even goes back and forth ridiculously just to manage things 🤣
The colleagues are easy to get along with
The boss lady really has an extremely bad temper. If she doesn't like you, she'll target you everywhere.
She pretends to care about you, but is actually just looking for an excuse to pick on you.
Some people are allowed to leave their seats and work on the sofa, while others aren't. If you work on the sofa for less than five minutes, you'll be called back to your seat.
The job you apply for is completely different from the work you actually do.
You also have to put up with unprofessional guidance and reprimands.
You have to report every little thing, but when you do report something, she'll say that it's such a minor matter and you should just decide for yourself.
It's truly contradictory to the extreme.
This company really doesn't need to hire another designer,
because even if you go there, they won't have you do design work—just production artwork.
Finding printing vendors, filming and editing videos,
creating social media banners and background images for documents.
You'll also be asked to do things outside the scope of your work, such as restocking snacks for everyone, cleaning up the office after the boss's meetings, and helping mail things,
just because the boss lady thinks you have nothing to do.
She doesn't know what she wants herself and can't explain it clearly, yet she decides that the designer is bad and careless.
So, are we supposed to read minds????
She'll haggle over five or ten dollars, and even get upset because a vendor overcharged three dollars for printed materials.
Am I supposed to carry the printed materials in my hands and let them get soaked by the rain?
She speaks extremely harshly to female employees, and starts lecturing them recklessly without understanding the situation.
She puts on a condescending attitude, but in reality she doesn't understand or know how to do anything at all.
The flexible working hours aren't real. You're expected to work late, and if you leave as soon as your scheduled hours are over, you'll still be questioned about it.
This company really is exactly what its name suggests: a farce, with ironic things happening everywhere.

or you'll immediately become disliked, you know.

After leaving the job, they still got my start date wrong.
This resulted in my salary being underpaid. When I told the boss, he even said that his wife couldn’t have remembered it incorrectly.
It was my problem..... I was completely dumbfounded.
They enrolled me late and withdrew me early from labor and health insurance and the retirement fund.
This was also extremely outrageous. When I told her, she kept insisting that they were a legitimate company and wouldn’t do such a thing.
I also thought a regular company wouldn’t do this, but you did.
Colleagues are easy to get along with, but almost all of them have left by now.

1. Part-time workers are not covered by labor and health insurance, and the hourly wage is even below 140
2. The boss has very poor organizational skills. There are as many as 4 or 5 internal communication groups (the company has no more than 10 full-time employees)
3. The boss really likes sending messages in the middle of the night
4. The boss's management skills are also quite poor. He assigns the same task to 2 or 3 people, and doesn't remember even when you report to him
5. He doesn't read emails sent to him either
6. At work, he doesn't trust employees and only trusts himself. The key point is that he doesn't have many ideas himself either
7. Product planning can be changed 3 or 4 times without reaching a conclusion
8. A dedicated person was hired for management, but after only a few days, he felt they were too idle and took the work back to manage himself

But in fact, the boss's wife interferes in everything. It is a responsibility-based system, and she even nitpicks with us over taking five extra minutes to eat

10. Even when taking sick leave, you get questioned about why you are taking sick leave, why you need to see that doctor, and why you need to go to that clinic

Yet she loves haggling with employees over their wages
The boss's wife doesn't understand anything and just makes a complete mess of everything
She treats hiring employees as if she were looking for her own friends; if you're not someone she likes, she won't give you the time of day
She doesn't mince words, making it seem as though you have to serve her
Whenever something needs to be handled, she dumps it on someone else. If the result isn't what she wants, she'll question why you didn't discuss it with her and then scold you. It's absolutely unbelievable.
She is very rude to interns
If no one orders lunch for everyone by lunchtime, the intern gets scolded, as if interns are responsible for everyone's lunch
Although the boss's wife claims to be in HR, she makes interns screen resumes, run errands to the bank for her, and even assemble cabinets and mail letters
They also have to translate documents and do these miscellaneous tasks, all for an hourly wage of only 140
They also have to help film the company's promotional videos, create marketing advertisements, and write social media posts. Even when there is clearly nothing to do, she insists on finding unrelated tasks to pile onto them
Company policy says work matters must be handled through Slack, but the boss always uses LINE to communicate work matters. She even keeps talking about work after hours and on holidays—it's basically relentless bombardment
The supposed flexible working hours are also a lie. You can only choose whether to arrive at the office at 9:30 or 10:00; they still expect you to work a full eight hours. A lot of the time there is nothing to do, so you just pretend to be busy—they don't care about your work efficiency at all
The supposed freedom to play video games whenever you want is also a lie; it isn't actually that free
This company is just completely ridiculous—so ridiculous you can't imagine it
You will definitely regret joining.
