The interview process was pretty good, and I had a pleasant discussion with the Chief Marketing Officer. The company seems like it wants to make a difference. Although I ultimately wasn’t hired, I still think it’s a good company. There are some shortcomings, but overall, the good outweighs the bad.

There was an assessment in the second interview, but it took quite a while from when they said they would send it to when they actually did. It felt like they were hiring without having thought things through carefully, and there were some discrepancies between what was discussed in the second interview and the assessment. The direction suggested by the assessment could mislead the person answering it.

The phone interview was extremely unpunctual, starting half an hour late. If I had not written to the head office to report it, they might not have called me back at all. When they did call, they only explained that the previous meeting had been delayed and mentioned that someone had been hired for this position yesterday, but they had not notified me first thing in the morning. This was highly unprofessional, disrespectful to the interviewee, and showed an extreme lack of credibility.
