The boss has the final say, and the head office’s rules are taken seriously.

At first, I devoted myself to working for the boss at the store without asking for anything in return. In the beginning, I thought the boss was a great person, and I also participated in the training. However, a few weeks before the official opening, the boss began delegating authority to their relatives. At first, I didn’t think it would have much impact, until things became completely outrageous later on. The SOC clearly states how long to cook things, how much to use, how to mix and adjust the ingredients, and so on, but they insisted that what they were doing was correct. In the end, I had no choice but to resign (reason: our philosophies were incompatible).

One month after the store opened, the boss personally called me to ask whether I was interested in returning (depending on the terms you offer—I would only ask for more than what was offered during the previous interview). The staff members who had caused problems were also dismissed.

Now, the boss is the biggest problem. You have a swollen-head complex; please seek medical attention or find a professional to help you as soon as possible.

Every industry is like a mountain range unto itself. You are strongest in insurance, but you are not qualified enough in the food-and-beverage industry.
