1. They changed their name and are now called “Mingzhu Media Technology Company” (Section 3, Hai’an Road).
2. They did not arrange an interview time in advance; they called directly and told you to come for an interview that afternoon.
3. They actually require you to send them the original copy of your diploma for their client to inspect. I don’t know whether it is the company or the client hiring you.
4. They said the employment contract was confidential and would not let you take photos of it (but normally both parties should retain a copy). When they saw me take out my phone, they became extremely alarmed and told me to delete the photos.
5. An oppressive clause. The probationary employment contract actually states: “If Party B wishes to terminate the contract before its expiration, Party B must notify Party A thirty days in advance, and the contract may be terminated only with the consent of both parties. If Party B terminates the contract without notice, causing losses to Party A, Party B must compensate Party A without objection in the amount of three months’ salary. If Party B causes any other losses to Party A, Party B must still compensate Party A in accordance with the law; such compensation is not limited to three times the monthly salary and does not include the aforementioned three-month-salary punitive damages.”
6. The meaning of the above is that even if you want to leave, you still need their consent. If they do not agree, you will be forced to pay an enormous amount. I absolutely would not rate this merely “poor” when I could rate it “terrible.”
7. Friends from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology or the Tainan area, do not come to this company under any circumstances. This is outrageous; be sure to read the contract carefully.

9. The job title does not match. My interview notification stated “Computer-Generated Animation Artist,” but the job title on the contract was “XX Assistant.”

1. The boss constantly brainwashes employees with his values and pressures them (e.g., repeatedly refuses requests for days off and requires overtime; employees are forced to read papers before being allowed to clock out and leave. The papers say things like: The company has no obligation to treat you well; it is your fortune that we teach you; the company can do just fine without you; etc.).
2. The boss is dishonest and exploits loopholes in many filings and regulations.
3. The most intolerable issue is the habitual excessive overtime. After being penalized, the company changed its approach and told employees to clock out on time and then continue working overtime (more than 54 hours of overtime were worked, but this was concealed and recorded as not exceeding the overtime limit).
4. Paid annual leave is deducted for no apparent reason (and you are not informed either before or afterward), and it is not provided properly in accordance with regulations.
5. Even when employees refuse overtime because they are unwell, they are still required to come to work.
6. Even after a labor inspection by the Labor Bureau, the company continued to require employees to work excessive overtime by using different methods.
