Pros

I honestly can't think of any advantages. It's a bizarre family-owned company.

Cons

The perfect-attendance bonus is as high as 4,000, and taking "annual leave" still results in the entire perfect-attendance bonus being deducted. You even have to pay for the leave form. What kind of logic is that!? Employees are also forced to use their meal allowance at specific company-owned restaurants. Salaries are paid late, and the payday is basically determined by the boss's mood! They often talk about how hard they worked in the past and complain about how employees are nowadays, but why don't you ever see employees' efforts? You take advantage of employees and suppliers all day long—what on earth are you calling this!? I'm so glad I finally left this place. It feels so good!

Pros

The colleagues are all nice, and when the boss is optimistic, she values you.

Cons

Salaries are often paid late, and the company's computers really don't perform very well.

The boss makes decisions too much according to her mood. She has her own dreams and personality, but if possible, I really hope she can think more from the employees' perspective; I believe this company would improve greatly.

Not every employee has money, and not every partner is trying to rip the company off. There is nothing wrong with thinking more about yourself and protecting your own interests, but the most important things in running a company are the team atmosphere and how to win everyone's hearts.

Everyone's holidays are their personal time. If someone is willing to come and help with some activities, it should not be forced.

I think the boss is a smart person, but she has stayed in her own social circle for too long and remained stuck in her own era for too long; she has forgotten that the world is still turning and that times are changing.

The boss of this company has excellent connections and resources, but I think the more important lesson is to understand that everyone has their own family and their own ideas. Knowing how to communicate, win people's hearts, and create win-win outcomes is what makes a good company.

I wish this boss's dreams can come true. Her fundamental nature is good, but she cannot see the true feelings of too many employees.

To lead people, you must win their hearts. I believe that a company with a very good atmosphere can certainly help her achieve the dreams in her heart.

Sometimes, setting aside your own preconceptions and listening more to other people's opinions is not necessarily a bad thing.

Pros

Such occasions are rare.

Cons

They pay salaries on the 10th here, but they usually delay it by two or three days. There’s no particular reason—it just depends on the boss’s mood. Sometimes the boss is even traveling abroad. Even when the boss comes into the office, they still aren’t willing to sign and stamp the payroll documents to release the salaries ^_^

Pros

The dog is cute when it isn't barking.

Cons

Taking personal leave results in a NT$4,000 deduction from the perfect-attendance bonus! The perfect-attendance bonus was also included in the salary negotiated at the beginning! To take leave, you have to fill out a notification form, submit it for approval, and get it stamped! You even have to pay for the notification forms yourself! They use their phones during all kinds of meetings! They play with the dog during meetings! They even bring the dog to meetings with clients! While you're giving a presentation, they put the dog on the conference table and play with it! They are greedy and only want to gain without contributing; they make all kinds of unreasonable demands, making you feel sorry for the cooperating vendors. They pretend to understand and insist on doing whatever they want; if you don't listen to them, then no! pay! They think that apologizing is the employee's responsibility, and if there is a dispute, the employee has to pay out of pocket and compensate the other party themselves!

Pros

Colleagues share a bond forged through adversity, and there’s also a cute dog—but the dog bites and doesn’t relieve itself in a designated spot.

Cons

Employees often pay out of pocket. It’s a company with guaranteed profits, but its management system is quite authoritarian, and leave requests are difficult to get approved.

Pros

The relationships between colleagues are almost all very good.

Cons

It is a family business where they contradict themselves all day, make grandiose claims, and talk nonsense to everyone. They never reflect on themselves; no matter what goes wrong, it is always the employees’ fault. The rules they set themselves are never followed. If something does not suit them, they make things difficult in every possible way. They use a pile of allowances to suppress employees’ salaries. Even though the café is not making money, they deduct employees’ meal subsidies to pressure them into eating there. Taking annual leave deducts NT$4,000 from employees’ perfect-attendance bonus. During lunch breaks, they do not care whether employees are resting, and they let their family’s dog bark incessantly, bite people, urinate everywhere, and make noise—then say how smart and wonderful it is without ever training it. They pressure employees to sacrifice holidays or time after work to participate in religious or personal activities. All kinds of behavior that completely violates the Labor Standards Act happen here. Oh, and this place absolutely does not follow the rules, so do not count on being lucky.

Pros

The colleagues are all very nice, and everyone gets along well.

Cons

Those in power do not listen to opinions and always act arbitrarily, then blame their mistakes on employees. They are only willing to accept suggestions from people of higher socioeconomic status, do not know how to respect others, and even require participation in the family’s religious and political activities. Even paid employees deserve basic respect and courtesy. Running a company does not make you an emperor. Please listen more to employees’ voices and suggestions that reflect the actual situation, and sincerely give them some thought!
