Cons

The company is located in a sheet-metal building in an industrial area and has a factory in mainland China. It mainly sells floodlights and lighting products. Since it has never previously entered the e-commerce sector, it is looking for talent. During the interview, it was apparent that the owner does not have much expectation of developing the products as a brand. The owner only said that there would be a bonus if the e-commerce performance was good, but the bonus system had not yet been established. Overall, the traditional-industry mindset is very conservative. When asked about compensation, I replied with the compensation listed in the 104 job posting, but the other party said that it exceeded the salary range set by the company, which left the interviewee with a very negative impression. When leaving, they said that someone internally would call later to inform the interviewee of the salary the company could accept for consideration. However, after waiting for a long time, there was still no news. This was very disrespectful to the interviewee.

Pros

Although it is a lighting fixtures factory, the entrance is warmly decorated, and the warehouse is also very tidy. It is not the kind of dirty, messy factory.

Cons

1. I clearly applied for position A, but during the interview it turned out to be position B.

2. If hired, there is a 3-day trial period (you can try it out to see whether you adapt to the work and like the environment), which is very considerate, but it is unpaid.

3. The full-time salary is determined based on performance during the 3-month probationary period, so there is no specific figure at all. The salary has no standard or range, making the uncertainty very high and offering no security.

4. One Saturday every month, the entire company has to conduct inventory (the duration varies from several hours to a full day), unpaid.

5. When the production line is busy, you have to support it as an operator (learning more can be a good thing, but I’m worried it could turn into having to do everything and becoming a general odd-job worker).

Basically, having to work without getting paid is already outrageous...
