Just a few days ago, I had only asked about taking time off next month, when I was suddenly laid off without warning, leaving me no time at all to prepare to look for another job.
There were no pay statements. I requested a certificate of involuntary separation; although they verbally said they would provide one, half a month has passed and there is still no sign of it.
The original reason given for the layoff was that business was slow due to the pandemic and staff reductions were needed. However, when I asked again before leaving, they instead claimed that, as a long-term employee, I could no longer keep up with the required speed.
During the interview, they said the first three months would be a learning period, but I was laid off after working for less than a month.
The cats are therapeutic, and the colleagues are easy to get along with.
New employees can receive protection and care from the boss.

When the boss can shamelessly say, “Our company has never followed the Labor Standards Act anyway,”
that’s probably when everyone should lose hope and leave.
Also, after working here for about one to two years, once the boss’s honeymoon period is over,
a lot of unfair things will start happening~
New employees who can do no wrong no matter what they do.
Veteran employees who won’t get a raise no matter what they do.
That said, I’ve already been away from the company for quite some time.
I heard that the salary difference between employees who have worked at the store for three to five years and new hires is now only 1,000,
and in some cases, it’s even less.
I don’t know what kind of willpower the other veteran employees have been relying on to hang in there...
And on top of that, the year-end bonus has to be paid out over six months＝＝
Personally, I don't think there are any advantages at all!! Some people say that an annual bonus is available, but for me... the actual working conditions here and the boss's violations of even the most basic provisions of the Labor Standards Act, among other issues, are completely disproportionate.
Even when there has been no leave or tardiness, my salary is often inexplicably short by amounts ranging from a few dozen to a few hundred dollars. The boss refuses to provide itemized pay statements!! One colleague had an unreasonable amount deducted for taking leave. When they asked about it, the explanation was... monthly salary ÷ 22 days, which violates Article 39 of the Labor Standards Act. Everyone at the company is a female employee except the boss's family members, yet the company does not provide menstrual leave as required by the Labor Standards Act. If you take leave, it is treated as "personal leave," and a full day's pay is deducted (note: sick leave also results in a full day's pay being deducted). If anyone is considering working at this company, please make absolutely sure that you will never get sick or experience menstrual pain.
