Pros

(1) As long as you are not too particular about the details, this was one of the few places at the time where the schedule could be arranged quite flexibly, making it easier to manage your personal time.

(2) Working seriously provides very solid day-to-day training, which can help you save on gym expenses.

(3) Getting along peacefully is not a mandatory course. You can choose to be yourself, or treat it as a place to practice managing your emotions and boundaries.

Cons

Looking back now, I can only think: “Hmm, it turns out someone had already written about this.” I’m just adding a few points.

(1) Salary adjustments are not routine. I did not encounter a system of regular raises; if you want to discuss an adjustment, you need to take the initiative to bring it up, but the conversation may not result in clear standards or a definite conclusion.

(2) Explanations of leave and benefits were rather vague during the interview. After actually joining, there were discrepancies from my understanding. I recommend asking specifically during the interview when they take effect, how they are calculated, how to apply for them, and so on.

(3) The insured salary bracket for Labor Insurance is set conservatively, which is noticeable in the short term when it comes to take-home pay; however, you should also assess for yourself the possible impact on your long-term entitlements.

(4) There is little onboarding training. When you encounter problems, you have to ask questions and find answers yourself; this is more suitable for people who like to be self-driven and learn independently.

(5) When discussing salary or communicating, the topic can easily be steered toward “attitude” rather than clear policies and standards.

Pros

Apparently, just come by the store more often and hang around; they’ll process your labor and health insurance very quickly, hehe.

Cons

Extremely awful.

There is no employee training and no clear method for calculating wages. (Moreover, the boss privately pays each person a different salary: some are lucky enough to earn NT$30,000 a month, while others work like oxen and only receive 19k.)

Previously, when an employee wanted to resign, the boss threatened to deduct their wages and make it impossible for them to get by in the industry.

There is no overtime pay. The supervisor is very harsh and often randomly berates employees when in a bad mood.

Simply put, it is a typical exploitative employer, but this has brought the employees closer together.

What all former employees agree on is this: rather than taking a full-time position here, it is a company better suited for part-time work.
