Pros

HR will read messages right away and respond to questions and requests immediately.

Cons

The manager stood me up twice for scheduled interviews, which makes me feel that there are problems with the company's management.

Pros

The company is growing steadily, evolving from a small company into one with 120 employees.

The location is next to an MRT station, but it requires a bit of extra walking.

Cons

The job was clearly stated to be position A, and this was confirmed. If the position after being hired is position B, I might be able to accept simply not being hired, but how could it be changed to position B? This would make any job seeker feel bad. It would have been perfectly fine not to hire me!! Why change it from A to B?

Perhaps they had other considerations, but others would not know; it would simply leave a bad impression.

Pros

I interviewed at the company’s headquarters in Taipei. It’s near Dapinglin MRT Station, in an area that’s livelier than I expected. The interview building was clean and medium-sized, with a warm atmosphere and a large fish tank inside. The receptionist was a friendly auntie. After filling out the personnel information form before the interview, I hardly had to write anything else that day—we went straight into the interview (efficient!!). They got straight to the point, explaining the qualities needed for the position, asking about your abilities, transportation options, and so on. Nothing was tricky or difficult. They also offered a cup of warm water (?) Overall, I had a pretty good impression… The interview took about an hour.

Cons

They wouldn’t give a definite answer about the three traditional holiday bonuses or year-end bonus, but they did mention some benefits, such as health checkups, employee trips, and Lunar New Year gifts.

If you care a lot about the three traditional holiday bonuses and year-end bonus, I think you could ask roughly about the usual range for reference. (From what I heard… it sounded pretty good, around three to four months… but I don’t know whether that’s actually true. After all, the job I applied for didn’t guarantee an annual salary.)
