Pros

1. There is a refrigerator.

2. Every now and then, there are family disputes to enjoy as a spectator.

3. Currently, there is no need to work make-up days (2023); next year is uncertain.

Cons

1. It is a family business, and the only son works at the company as a special assistant.

2. There is an extremely serious double standard: when the only son does a copy-and-paste proposal, it is considered excellent and worth learning from, while if anyone else makes even a minor mistake, they are berated until they question their entire life.

3. The boss constantly emphasizes that everyone should not be petty, but the person who is most petty is the boss himself.

4. Any day with an event means working on a holiday, but there is no compensatory leave or overtime pay, because the boss repeats the old line: “Don’t be so petty.”

5. Work starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. Since the boss’s family, including the managers, does not arrive at the company until after 10:00, they assume everyone starts work very late. When in a bad mood, they scold everyone for not being punctual, apparently unaware that only the senior managers are unpunctual.

6. The boss makes decisions very, very much according to their mood. If things are unpleasant in their personal life, they vent by yelling at employees, and frequently fail to separate personal and professional matters.

7. When scolding people, the boss does not distinguish right from wrong. Even if something is not your fault, they will treat it as your fault and berate you mercilessly.

8. The boss is a stereotypical old-fashioned conservative who cannot accept new things. They do not understand online transfers or virtual accounts, cannot switch between full-width and half-width characters, cannot use Word, and cannot format documents. People with obsessive-compulsive tendencies are advised to stay away.

9. You have to remind the boss about a raise, because the boss wants to save money and will not hire an accountant. Salaries are frequently calculated incorrectly, so remember to verify your own pay.

10. Although there is no need to work make-up days, overtime still gets you nothing, because you already do not have to work make-up days—do you still expect compensatory leave and overtime pay? Dream on. Young people should not be so petty.

11. You basically need to be able to read minds, right? You dare apply without being psychic? Go back and practice for 10 years first.

12. The boss’s husband is a designer, but he does not understand file output, printing, or bleed. Although he does not understand them, he will teach you anyway, so don’t worry.

13. They love loudly proclaiming that everything is for your own good, that they are teaching you, and that “we are a family.” Anyone who wants to add to the family is welcome to apply.

14. At the manager level and above, people are basically either too emotionally blackmailed to dare leave or are family members. It is a challenging environment—challenge yourself to see how many years you can endure the emotional blackmail.

15. The current office environment is very small and cramped. When customers come in, they speak loudly and chat for most of the day without leaving. Even when they come during the lunch break, they still chat loudly, as if the employees trying to sleep do not exist.

16. The boss travels abroad every year and says every year that they will take the employees on an overseas company trip, but it has never happened even once.

17. As mentioned above, they travel abroad or buy a new car every year, but they still complain about being poor when necessary.

18. At this company, people who ride motorcycles are second-class citizens.

19. The design boss and their son drive extremely dangerously. Fasten your seat belt and pray that you do not die in the car.

20. The boss’s family is extremely traditional in their thinking. Gender discrimination and verbal harassment are everyday occurrences, but they are unaware of it. If you feel uncomfortable, it is recommended that you speak up immediately.

21. The boss frequently changes their mind about things from one day to the next, then denies what they said previously and scolds you again.

It is not that you cannot come, but before you do, think about where your boundaries are and whether you can accept working for a family business.

Pros

......Occasionally treats everyone to a meal?

Because we have fixed temple-worship rituals every half month, there is a snack cabinet.

There is a one-and-a-half-hour lunch break; we get the day off when a Saturday makeup workday is scheduled.

Cons

Family business, family business, family business. Those who understand should know from this that you probably shouldn’t join. If you don’t, please allow me to explain in detail.

When you start working here, you’ll witness all kinds of double standards indulging the husband and son. The executive assistant can sleep in until 11:30 and then come to work, while the general manager directs all her anger at the other employees, including but not limited to questioning supervisors about why her own son hasn’t come to work yet. Other employees are expected to obediently clock in on time with immaculate attendance records, yet are still asked, “Who among you actually came to work on time?”

Number one in sarcasm and snide remarks. They want you to have ideas, but not any ideas outside the blueprint in their head; they want you to obediently get things done, but won’t tell you how; they want you to follow instructions, but the instructions constantly change, so you can never meet their standards. In the end, they’ll say, “Why haven’t you done anything?”

If you work in design and don’t want your professional expertise humiliated, please do not come here under any circumstances. They have the ability to give you a huge pile of clipping masks that makes the file explode in size, then use Illustrator to lay out a manual and end up with a 5 GB file that the printer can’t print. The design supervisor, aka the husband, will also berate you and ask you to fix his files, while they’re unwilling to pay to clean the computer’s fans, meaning your crappy little computer simply can’t handle a 5 GB file. There was even an incident where the boss complained that the printer had color discrepancies and immediately contacted the printer company that same day to replace it, when the real reason was that the boss had whimsically wanted to use a laser printer to reproduce Pantone swatch colors.

An advanced course in emotional blackmail and PUA. Staying here will only make you feel like you’re utterly incompetent and hopeless, and that you might never find another job if you leave. The boss likes hiring fresh graduates precisely because of this: if you’re doing well, she won’t praise you; if you’re struggling, she won’t teach you—she’ll only subject you to all kinds of joking, ridicule, and verbal abuse. If you really do unfortunately end up working here, take a good look at yourself, then look at the boss’s son, and you’ll realize you’re really, really not that bad.

Every so often, side quests will gank you so badly that you don’t get a lunch break at all. Add up the unpaid weekend overtime, and it almost offsets the extra half hour you supposedly gain from the longer daily lunch break. There are endless examples of promises not being kept: employees’ Labor Insurance and National Health Insurance not being enrolled on time, incorrect salary deductions for personal leave, promised raises that never materialize, responding cryptically when employees ask questions and then justifying it by humiliating them, and employees asking about their pay slips because the salary figures seem strange, only to receive the reply, “I don’t like you all being so particular.”

You’ll hear this sentence often. Treat it as this company’s slogan, got it? They don’t like you being so particular!

BTW, this company has no accountant. Your clock-in records are controlled by the beloved son, and your salary is controlled by a boss who is bad at math. The Labor Standards Act is just a joke; everything is decided by them. They change systems whenever they say so: the anniversary-based leave system was abruptly changed to a calendar-year system, even though they didn’t know how to calculate the proportional amounts. In the end, it came back to that same line: “Why do you all love calculating these little hours so much? *I really don’t like you being so particular.*” Naturally, because the boss is truly bad at math, they changed it back again.

Oh, and all the benefits mentioned in the pros section are currently being gradually reduced. For example, the boss has started deliberately scheduling events on makeup workdays, then saying, “That day was a makeup workday anyway~.” The original promise that we would get the day off on makeup workdays was made because we sometimes had to work on holidays as a matter of obligation. So what is this supposed to mean now?? Who exactly is being particular here?

Value your life and stay away from this place.

Requesting backup: run-away meme.
