Pros

Cons

After looking at the job benefits listed on 104 for Dream Factory International Business Co., Ltd.

The perfect-attendance bonus effectively does not exist now. I have never received a work bonus. The special bonus is a red envelope deducted from the year-end bonus during the New Year period. The activity bonus is for activities that are never held.

There is no group insurance and no accident insurance.

Employees occasionally dine together, which is equivalent to a family gathering; ordinary employees basically cannot participate.

Management is relatively humane—meaning that anyone you see can manage you. Opinions are not unified, and the solutions proposed for problems are different every time.

Pros

The company operates as a family business, with many of its early core members being relatives, resulting in relatively stable organizational operations.

During the tenure of the previous person in charge, overall operational performance was acceptable, and the internal atmosphere was maintained at a reasonable level.

Cons

After the previous person in charge passed away, other family members took over the business, resulting in substantial organizational changes, including departmental restructuring and a reduction in the number of stores, which led to a significant increase in staff turnover.

In terms of management style, the new supervisors tend to use high-pressure and centralized management. More internal monitoring equipment has been installed, making the work environment relatively stressful. Communication is more forceful, affecting employee morale and sentiments.

The salary and benefits system has also been adjusted. There are discrepancies between the actual implementation and the announced terms of some existing bonus schemes, such as attendance, performance, and activity-related rewards. Group insurance and additional benefits are relatively inadequate, and employees have limited opportunities to participate in company activities.

In terms of staffing, experienced employees have gradually left, while the retention of new employees is low. The division of decision-making authority and responsibilities within the organization is unclear, and the management team is not aligned in its views, frequently causing confusion during execution and affecting work efficiency.

Pros

Does being close to home count as an advantage?

Cons

The management style of the newly appointed leadership is highly oppressive.

Their communication is harsh and includes emotional language.

The leadership frequently displays an authoritarian, top-down mentality,

creating an atmosphere in which everyone is expected to obey orders without question.

This has seriously affected the workplace atmosphere and team morale.

Management relies excessively on surveillance systems,

placing employees’ every move under close monitoring.

There have even been situations where employees were forced to “look busy” after completing their work.

When the workload is too heavy, management not only fails to provide assistance

but instead applies frequent pressure, resulting in a complete loss of trust in the workplace.

This culture of distrust toward employees has caused severe internal friction.

Internal hiring is heavily characterized by nepotism.

Important positions and new hires almost always require family ties or special connections.

This leaves capable frontline employees with little room for development,

while experienced talent leaves at an extremely rapid rate, resulting in a severe talent gap across the company.

The management structure is loose and lacks unified standards. Almost any member of management can direct frontline employees,

and the various parties’ opinions often conflict, leaving employees at a loss when carrying out their duties.

The priority given to handling problems also frequently varies depending on who is involved.

Actual benefits have been severely reduced. Although relevant items may be listed on job platforms, attendance bonuses and performance bonuses, among others, are practically nonexistent; year-end bonuses are not only low, but there have even been cases involving kickbacks from employees’ red-envelope gifts.

Group insurance and related protections are also seriously inadequate. Employee gatherings are usually limited to the core family circle, making it difficult for ordinary employees to fit in.

Overall, the company’s current workplace culture is extremely closed-off and lacks respect. For job seekers pursuing professional development and a stable work environment, careful consideration is advised before submitting a résumé, including an assessment of the company’s long-term management practices and its ability to retain talent.

Pros

Under the leadership of the company’s past management team,

the overall operation was relatively stable. The company operated under a typical family-style management model.

Under the previous management system, the company environment was relatively stable, and this was once the company’s greatest asset.

Cons

The company is fundamentally operated under a highly family-centric management model.

During the tenure of the previous general manager, although many organizational members were relatives, the company had relatively stable leadership and business policies.

However, as power was transferred to the current management team, the organization experienced a significant leadership gap.

Management authority is highly concentrated among core family members, and there is no governance structure involving professional managers.

Decision-making transparency is low, and the involvement of multiple family members in management has resulted in unclear roles and responsibilities.

The phenomenon of “everyone being able to give orders” makes internal communication extremely costly.

Employees frequently face conflicting instructions.

The current management team adopts a highly oppressive and micromanaging approach.

It creates a high-pressure work atmosphere by installing monitoring equipment extensively and introducing real-time remote supervision.

The management team lacks professionalism in its communication style and has weak emotional control, which can easily trigger a crisis of trust between employees and supervisors.

As large numbers of experienced senior employees have left, the transfer of organizational knowledge has nearly come to a halt.

The promotion and retention mechanisms for new employees appear to be heavily tied to family connections and nepotism.

As a result, general job seekers lack career prospects and fair opportunities for advancement.

The company’s compensation structure lacks market competitiveness, and its benefits system is largely nominal.

Salary levels are low, and as business strategies have been adjusted, year-end performance bonuses have even effectively declined.

There is a serious gap between the recruitment page and actual implementation.

For example, items such as perfect-attendance bonuses, work bonuses, and activity bonuses are often not provided in practice.

The company lacks the necessary group employee insurance and accident insurance coverage.

Employee rights and interests are afforded extremely little protection.

“Employee dinners” are often limited to extensions of the family’s internal gatherings, making it difficult for ordinary employees to integrate and causing team cohesion to disappear entirely.

The company is currently in a period of adjustment involving a transformation of its business strategy and internal management conflicts.

Because the management team lacks an understanding of modern corporate governance

and has extended the family-style, patriarchal system into excessive monitoring of employees,

the workplace is characterized by high pressure, low benefits, a lack of professional respect, and limited opportunities for development.
