Pros

Working from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with punctual arrival and departure. The work content generally remains unchanged and is easy to get started with.

The atmosphere among colleagues is harmonious. They order drinks together, and there are badminton activities after work that employees can participate in.

Cons

Salary is not adjusted annually, and the promotion path is very unclear.

A small traditional industry company; the work includes cleaning and tidying.

There is no menstrual leave among the available types of leave; sick leave requires a receipt from a medical appointment.

If you spend too long in the restroom, you will be “reminded” to pay attention to your health.

Annual leave is calculated according to the “calendar-year system” stipulated by the Labor Standards Act. Job seekers with specific leave-related needs should pay particular attention to the calculation method.

Overall, the company follows the regulations, but the work experience can easily feel unsatisfactory.

Not recommended for job seekers whose stress tolerance is below 70%.

Pros

Having been with the company for over a year does not represent all employees. However, personally, I consider it a very people-oriented and flexible company. In its early days, sales of tile-cutting machines were remarkably impressive for a small company, but when the market declined, it shifted its focus to the niche of engraving machines. Targeting customers for non-industrial, personalized use, the R&D process was extensive and painstaking, with a great deal of effort invested. All CNC software features were developed by the engineers, making the products very soulful. The products rarely have quality issues unless they are caused by human error (Never break warranty promises). Most customer complaints arise because individuals do not understand how to use the products or subjectively assume that the machine is defective, which is of course unavoidable. In the market, Bravoprodigy engraving machines represent a relatively new product concept. Before I left the company, sales had begun to improve. The product itself is unique and highly targeted, so if the market can be successfully developed, this is a machine well worth investing in. Personnel management is highly flexible. The owner adjusts employees’ responsibilities according to their actual abilities, allowing everyone to perform as efficiently as possible. In this respect, it is a very unique company. I have rarely heard of anyone being arbitrarily dismissed. In itself, this makes it an outstanding company in central and southern Taiwan. The owner did not return from studying abroad, but did spend time in the United States, so the company’s management style has been influenced to some extent. He is also very willing to teach employees knowledge about the industry. The company places great emphasis on the Labor Standards Act, which is quite uncommon for a company with fewer than 50 employees.

Cons

There are no objective drawbacks. As for adapting to the work, it depends on the individual, so I cannot say much more. However, at least the supervisors are patient with employees. Although they apply an appropriate amount of pressure, they do not verbally berate employees simply because they failed to meet a requirement. I left the company because of my personal plans; otherwise, there were no particular issues with adapting to the company. As far as I know, most employees who left either had higher aspirations or other personal reasons.
