Pros

Emotionally, I want to leave a negative review, but rationally, I’ll still give it an average rating.

1. About 90% of the colleagues I worked with were talented, easy to get along with, and pleasant. Many were also generous about sharing and exchanging ideas, and were willing to help when there were problems.

2. Project execution follows fixed procedures and strict rules, making it suitable for people who want to gain experience in this area.

3. As the previous two reviewers mentioned, there are opportunities to work on large-scale government projects or relatively high-profile projects, or to collaborate with other talented people in the industry.

4. The company environment is fairly comfortable, and the internet is quite fast.

5. The company complies with the Labor Standards Act, provides overtime pay (or compensatory leave), generally provides year-end bonuses, and gives gift boxes for the three major festivals.

Cons

Basically, none of the shortcomings mentioned by the previous two reviewers have been improved.

1. As the previous two reviewers pointed out, the scripts lack variation and originality, which also limits the space for designers and animators to exercise their creativity.

2. The strict rules and limited creative freedom stem from a strong desire for control. People who want more creative freedom or have a stronger personal style may find it more difficult, as may those with more laid-back personalities.

3. Some software is not properly licensed, so please take note if this concerns you.

4. You need to engage in emotional labor and endure emotional manipulation. When someone becomes excessively agitated, there may be loud scolding (or swearing).

5. Arrogance itself is not a particularly serious problem; the problem is forcing others to agree with them, or looking down on people who are different from them. They only believe what they want to believe.

6. There may be inappropriate public remarks that could cause a public-relations crisis, such as inappropriate “jokes,” “humor” that misjudges the line, or gender stereotypes that quietly make everyone uncomfortable.

7. They bully the weak and fear the strong, and are two-faced. They try to get close to people when there are benefits or advantages to be gained, but stop pretending once they have used them or there is nothing to gain.

8. There is some degree of paranoia.

The following are not shortcomings, but they are not advantages either. They are simply the actual circumstances, provided for reference:

1. Free lunch is currently not available every day. It is provided by the kindergarten next door, and if you are not accustomed to the taste, you still have to find food elsewhere.

2. There are still situations where overtime is required, but compared with other companies in the same industry, people generally leave work relatively early.

3. Not every computer is a “top-spec” Mac.

4. The office is some distance from the MRT station, about an 8–10 minute walk. However, more than half of the route has no shade, making it very uncomfortable under the strong sun.

5. Turnover is somewhat high. From 2020 to the present, seven or eight people have left across the two departments, and none of the interns have been converted to full-time employees.

6. The work atmosphere is extremely quiet due to the many reasons mentioned above—so quiet that you unconsciously end up speaking to your colleagues in a whisper.

Pros

Opportunities to interact with people in the industry and meet excellent colleagues.

Opportunities to work on large-scale projects.

There are often stray cats near the company, which is quite therapeutic.

Cons

Although it is a design team, in practice there is not much room for discussion; it is more like being a robot that helps get things done.

If you are not emotionally resilient, staying too long may cause psychological problems, and you may have to spend a significant amount of money seeing a doctor.

Not suitable for staying long-term unless you can tolerate emotional manipulation.

Staying too long may wear down your confidence.

There is a high chance of being scolded when asking questions.

The software used is not正版.

There is often a need to take the blame.

The scripts do not change.

People repeatedly change what they say.

There is overtime.

Pros

Participated in many high-profile projects (government projects, etc.)

Cons

- Emotionally unstable

- Likes to shift blame

- Publicly berates people, then apologizes in private

- After already having an answer in mind, asks everyone to vote; if the result is not the option they prefer, they give many reasons to persuade everyone

- Constantly promotes the company externally as not requiring overtime to attract applicants, but in reality, employees do work overtime
