Read the community guidelines1. The pay for warehouse work is fairly generous.
2. The company pays for dinner when you work overtime.
3. Performance evaluations may result in bonuses.
4. Because they are short-staffed, the company generally does not lay people off.
5. Some colleagues are fairly easy to get along with—only a small portion, though.
6. Overtime requests are generally approved. Overtime is counted from 18:00, but the period from 18:00 to 18:30 is unpaid.
1. The location is remote.
2. Frequent overtime is required.
3. The policies are strange. Upper management basically does not get involved, resulting in a disproportionate number of employees who lack ability or like to engage in verbal arguments or gossip.
4. Staff may be reassigned between the Bali Warehouse and Taipei Port Warehouse.
5. Because they are short-staffed, the company generally does not lay people off, so employees who lack ability or like to engage in verbal arguments or gossip make up one-third of the total workforce.
6. From the end of 2021 to before March 2022, many people left, resulting in staff being reassigned between different warehouses. To retain the remaining employees, many people were promoted, but those who lacked ability or were unsuitable for management positions made up two-thirds of the managers.
This was especially true of the female office staff: those who lacked ability, had bad tempers, gossiped, and were unwilling to take responsibility made up a large proportion (three-quarters).
Among the warehouse supervisors, their abilities were adequate when working independently or cooperatively, but almost none were capable of serving as junior managers (section chiefs or deputy section chiefs). Before being promoted in 2022, two-thirds showed ambition; after being promoted, two-thirds slacked off or continued to procrastinate.
