Read the community guidelinesThere is a 1% commission bonus, paid two months later (does this count as being covered by National Health Insurance?)
The company has all the usual problems of traditional manufacturing businesses (family-run company; no regular pay raises; one person is expected to do the work of two and they never hire more staff; constantly comparing itself with other lousy companies; policies changing on a whim).
Accounting is run by an insider. They make mistakes and issue incorrect paychecks, but never get reprimanded—aren’t they great?
The boss is extremely emotional, so the turnover rate among sales staff is extremely high.
They hired me as a sales assistant but used me as a salesperson, telling me to grow together with the company. They made raises sound very promising, but I have never seen one.
Whenever something happens, they use the company’s lack of manpower to silence suppliers or customers, but they simply never hire more people.
Every development project is scheduled to take at least a year, but they always tell customers it will only take two or three months. When the deadline arrives, they use the excuse of insufficient manpower to stall them.
If you make a mistake at work, they immediately pull out the ultimate attack and sarcastically criticize your entire life. If you don’t sweep the floor, they snap at you and ask whether your family doesn’t care about cleanliness.
They like talking about their own values and think they have already weathered every kind of storm. Little do they know, what does your life have to do with me? I’m just here to work and get paid. (When I resigned, they even taunted me by asking whether I didn’t know how to make friends (´・_・`))
If you don’t read or leave an after-work Line message on read without replying, you’ll be scolded for being impolite.
If you leave after work without saying goodbye, they’ll message you on Line to ask whether you’re thinking of resigning (Are they afraid I’ll run away?)
As Jack Ma said: “If the money isn’t right, and your heart feels wronged”—that’s exactly what I experienced at this company ^_^
