Pros

The interview mainly involved the boss confirming whether I was interested in entering the industry, as well as a self-introduction.

They also checked whether I had interview experience.

Although I did not work there for very long due to personal reasons, the final paycheck was processed very quickly. I felt that the boss was willing to give people opportunities. If you are interested in sales, you can give it a try.

Cons

Because the company is small, you are responsible for many things. You should be mentally prepared, but you can learn a lot.

Pros

Regarding the projects, there are many.

You can also independently operate the platform and upload content when your colleagues in the Planning Department are absent, allowing you to train yourself to become an all-in-one professional.

For fresh graduates who have just entered the workforce and lack practical experience, it is a good opportunity to accumulate more work samples.

Cons

Characteristics of a small company:

The boss speaks very directly and does not intend to give people an opportunity to speak.

Yet they also hope employees will have their own ideas. From this alone, you can tell that communication at work will be difficult in the future.

A responsibility-based system; in practice, the experience is more or less the same as what was described in the comments below.

Pros

Everyone I interviewed with seemed easy to get along with.

Cons

The environment was small and cluttered with a lot of miscellaneous items.

The woman wearing glasses at the door had a really unpleasant expression…

It felt like there was no enthusiasm.

After looking into it, this company’s reputation doesn’t seem to be very good.

Pros

The boss will treat you to a meal; it would be awkward not to eat.

Cons

It would take 5,000 words to list all the shortcomings of this company.

It’s been far too long since I last had to go to the Ministry of Labor to file a complaint.

The bonus we were promised turned out to be different from what was originally stated.

If you’re looking for a company in the exhibition industry,

I advise you to look at Chan Chao, UDN, or Kaichih.

This company can’t build its brand.

I worked here for a year.

It has a bad reputation, and many booths are obtained through product exchanges.

In the end, it’s very hard work; the booths are all secured by asking people for favors.

Finally, the unloading area at EXPO Dome is extremely difficult to park in.

Whether special partner organizations are allowed to park there depends on their mood.

If you’re exhibiting, you might as well go to the TWTC or Nangang Exhibition Center.

Cons

A very arrogant company. There was no problem with applying for a part-time job, nor with the very long review time. After they later informed me of the job details, I just felt that there might be an issue with the pay, so I asked about it. I had already provided my ID card and everything else they asked for, and then they directly replied, “Forget it, we’ll find someone else.” What kind of professional standards does this company have? A waste of time.

Pros

The boss and colleagues are fairly easy to get along with.

Cons

1. It is impossible to leave work on time because meetings are always held 10–15 minutes after the end of the workday. Not only are there meetings before leaving work, but there is also a half-hour meeting before work starts. There are endless meetings every day, but the content is usually more or less the same.

2. You may need to visit exhibitions or go to Taichung to organize the warehouse on holidays, but there will be no allowance or compensatory time off.

3. Administrative assistants are doing entirely sales-related work, but their salaries are not the same as those of sales staff. During exhibitions, planning assistants may even be required to edit videos by the very next day. At this company, assistants are easily taken advantage of.

4. The company’s contact lists are extremely outdated, and the boss does not want you to spend work hours developing new leads.

5. Bonuses are paid quarterly and handled very reluctantly. If you leave midway without having gone through an exhibition, the bonus will be reduced to zero.

If you are genuinely interested in the exhibitions industry, I recommend applying to another exhibition company. Business development will be easier there, and the company systems will likely be more established.

There was no problem finding part-time workers for events.

Part-time work at the Taipei Expo Park travel fair

The work duties were explained unclearly beforehand.

They were extremely reluctant to pay.

In the cold wind, we had to check tickets and provide explanations, as well as use our own phones and power banks to scan visitors’ IDs.

The crowds were enormous, causing the real-name registration app to crash, so I went inside the venue to report it to the boss.

The boss even said, “It’s a problem with your phone,” and then scanned their own ID with their own phone—and it worked.

What nonsense.

All the full-time staff went inside the venue to hide from the cold wind, while the crowds continued from 9:30 a.m. until the venue closed at 6 p.m.

We part-time workers had almost no break time.

At noon, the lunch boxes were always vegetarian, and we were given only 20 minutes to eat.

Because you would see fellow part-time workers unable to handle the workload alone.

There was no time to use the restroom or drink water; we had to stand until the end of the 8-hour shift.

You would even get dirty looks for going to the restroom.

17 hours of work, and they only paid 2,200 ??????

I already notified you that I wasn’t going to the interview, yet you still reported me to 104 for not showing up? The pandemic is so serious and there are fewer exhibitions—are you complaining that business is too good?

Pros

There are absolutely none ˇ^^

Cons

I’m speechless. The listing on 104 was for a business assistant, and after arranging an interview time, when I arrived they said only a sales position was left ^^

They completely wasted the job seeker’s time.

Then the entire office was gloomy, with sour faces.

I pressed the doorbell, but even the lady closest to the door wouldn’t come to open it. ==

Pros

The boss is very easy to get along with.

Cons

The salary, bonuses, and pay deduction system are completely unreasonable (the proportions are extremely disproportionate). At this company, people who work normal hours are considered strange. After resigning, my salary and bonuses were not settled immediately either; it took two or three months for me to receive the payment. Most of the policies are completely inconsistent with the Labor Standards Act. The Labor Bureau is very welcome to conduct an investigation.
